There is no way to secure the trailer to the vehicle. The coupling has a place to put a bolt through it but is too big for a lock. if you put a bolt in it someone can just unscrew it and take the trailer. I tried to put a lock on the safety chains so that no one could pull the chains back through, but I notice that the chains were secured with U-bolts that you could unscrew and remove that chains for the trailer. If you are staying overnight at a hotel, some can easily steal your trailer. I don't know if you have locks that people can use to lock the trailer to the vehicle. it would be good to be able to secure the trailer to your vehicle.
