JAMES HI would never read another U-Haul from Pacheco when I picked it up the lady was rude and lazy. I needed help to pick up a dolly because I have a bad back and she wouldn’t even help me when I returned it. Another lady was absolutely rude people like this should not be working with the public. If they don’t like their job, they should just quit.

TODOR G#1, I would have liked to be credited back my $10 for furniture pads which I did not use and returned unopened! #2, I had trouble with the request to take a photo of my driver's license for the pre-check from home. Clicking on the link activated my iPhone camera, but the screen went black and nothing worked. I had to quit and after several tries I gave up on that and took my own photos and uploaded them myself. Not sure if others have had this problem, but I had the issue trying to take photos of the vehicle as requested…except, I didn't realize I was suppose to do that on the premises, so maybe that's part of it. Anyway everything else worked just fine

BATBAATAR KThis is a great out-of-the-way place to rent your uhaul truck. No lines and no waiting. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
IRENE HThis is the BEST U-Haul location in the entire East Bay!!! Everyone who works there is very nice. Every time I pick up ANY van or truck it's clean and ready to roll. And best of all, no 500 guys at the entrance looking for work like the Concord CA location.

Wah CThe cargo area smelled like it had been used to store cow manure for the last several weeks. It was horrible! Had to spray the sides, roof and floor with vinegar and it still stank. I was transporting some expensive re-upholstered chairs and had to wrap each one in plastic so my customer's house would not smell like cow manure. There's a sign at check-out that says "You will be charged if the truck smells like the dump when you return it." If there was a charge, it went straight into their pockets. It clearly was not spent on deodorizing the truck. This is inexcuseable.

MARIANO CFirst of all, there was a discrepancy between the online reservation I made and the actual location reservation. I reserved a 15' truck online and was told when I arrived that they only had 10'. My contact info was not in the system. I had also reserved a small dolly and blankets but there were none of those available when I got to the site location. I do not understand how communication works between these two entities. Additionally, there was a very unpleasant altercation between my brother and the women at the location. Very unprofessional and unnecessary. I will not be renting from them again. BTW, the 10' truck does not have a ramp for unloading. Inconvenient to say the least.

MELINDA SCustomer service is always excellent. They are so easy to work with. Our only complaint is that the last few times we’ve rented, the van has been dirty in the cargo area and outside, and the cargo area smelled bad.

Shelita SThis location was convenient and close to my home and off a busy street.Access was easy. Mechanically the truck was excellent. Whoever drove it last did eat in the car and that was a little messy. Just my opinion because I don’t eat in my vehicles. Customer service was excellent.
MARGIE FI had signed up for the mobile pick-up. Your app was very difficult to navigate and kept crashing. Your staff was unable to help us due to the restrictions held by your app. I felt this to be very cumbersome and aggravating. While we tried to navigate your app (while in the office at Pacheco), 2 other customers were also complaining about the procedures and extreme difficulty they were having while trying to rent a U-Haul vehicle. I might have to think twice next time before renting from U-Haul again.

Joel CThe lady who helped me was unprofessional, I asked for her name so I could include it but she refused to give it. She was very rude and basically said the U-Haul app shouldn’t have sent me to that location because I reserved a van for 2 hours (4pm-6pm) she told me they close at 5 and I needed to have the van back by 445pm or at exactly 9am when they open or I would be charged a breach of contract free of $250. I informed her I work at 5am and couldn’t make it by 9am. I explained that Booked it on the app and it sent me here and she was just very upset and standoffish I asked for the store manager name and she would not give it. Worst experience in my life with U-Haul of whom I have used my whole adult life for moving. I’m 53 years old.

Scott MStaff was very helpful .I was able to ask questions without feeling like I was overwhelming them. Staff was very polite and I had my 10ft box truck and was about to start it up to leave when i notice on email that my trip has been changed to a different location. The staff, without question or losing some pep in her step, didn’t hesitate to help me choose the cargo van for it would have and did, save me a total of $60. They were knowledgeable of all the equipment and of the fleet they had work (paperwork etc) was processed very efficiently. It made the whole entire experience the best one out of all my prior U-Haul transactions and in person pick up-drop off

Fabricio PI had a confirmation for originally 8am but when I spoke to the representative they informed me I couldn’t pick up until 9am which was opening time. I agreed to that time. I show up at 9am just to find out my truck was not even on site. Waiting an hour for someone else to return it. No other equipment was available to rent. This was very upsetting as it was the day of my move and I was on a time crunch. When I asked for a price adjustment I was told they couldn’t. I would like to be compensated for the inconvenience.
Rickel WHave a larger inventory for customers. Boxes, mattress pads, etc. If item is not available, please notify the customer at least 48 hours before so they can do a Plan B.

ken sI was charged $36 for 5 gl of gas, total miles driven was 36 miles, most of it on highway 4 w/out the load. Could someone explain to me how is it possible to consume 7miles/gallon? Absolute rip off. Shameful. I was ok to pay $7/gl, but only for gas I really used. I didn’t fill up, because I didn’t want to drop it off right before closing.
ZYGMUNT BThe lady with blonde hair was extremely rude and racist. She called me on my number regarding my reservation and hanged up on me! When I get to the office, She was very happy serving the customer ahead of us. As soon as she finished and it's our turn her attitude towards as changed to extremely rude! I haven't done anything, not a single thing and she starts acting sour! Her attitude towards me as a customer who did nothing is very unacceptable! She even tried to return my ID to refuse service and challenged me to get a reservation at a different location when I didn't do anything to her! I asked her to calm down because she's being rude and I didn't do anything at all. I did not even engage on her provoking me to stoop down to her level. The other lady knows what happened. I have no idea why us she acting up like an uneducated woman. But her actions that day was unacceptable Karen!
KRISTINEJOY STruck window was extremely dirty with dust and a mass amount of dead bugs. Truck was hard to find at location. Was at the back of the storage area. Upset that reservation was changed to location that was 14 miles from moving location. Versus the one I reserved that was 2 miles away.

Kathryn MWe ordered on line but had some difficulties with time (didn’t know they closed early / but ordered to return later) and odd auto-fill for the telephone number. I must have seemed frantic but a series of medical emergencies and family dynamics warranted the need for the truck. The staff was kind, helpful and cognizant of my weakened state from medical treatments, corrected the app errors (we tried to correct after receiving a call, but website wouldn’t allow and I probably made more of a mess making a second reservation). I really appreciate the staffs understanding and patience as they corrected my mistakes.

Michael LPacheco mini storage where I rented the truck was great in availability and overall customer care. The only complaint that I have is the need to buy insurance through U-Haul verses my own full coverage insurance.

Victoria HDriver's seat was not adjustable. Wooden beams in cargo area were not properly affixed to wall. Reserved supplies (except for the truck itself) were not available on the day of pickup. Online reservation system was not in sync with actual business hours of this location.
Paul HThe truck worked great and service was fast. However, the truck was at about 1/8 tank when I picked it up, and I was told if I returned it with 1/4 tank of gas, I’d get a $30 credit. I feel like that was pretty misleading, because it wasn’t a $30 credit off the price they gave me, it was a $30 credit off the $30 gas fee. So really, it was just me avoiding a fee rather than discount off my quoted price. I just don’t appreciate how it was phrased to me. It seemed intentionally misleading.
