The rental site and the staff there were fantastic—especially Brandy, who stepped in to help when poor Verizon service made it impossible to complete the self check-in/out process. Her help was the one bright spot in an otherwise deeply frustrating experience. The truck I was given broke down, and when I checked under the vehicle, it was obvious the radiator had been leaking for a long time—the corrosion was extensive. This wasn’t a surprise breakdown; it was a maintenance failure. I was stuck on the side of the road for 6 hours, blocking traffic, waiting for U-Haul to respond. Roadside assistance was slow, unqualified, and poorly coordinated. When a tow truck finally arrived, I then had to travel to another location to pick up a replacement vehicle—which wasn’t ready when I arrived, adding even more delays. To make matters worse, I had to manually move a full load of cargo from the broken vehicle to the new one, entirely on my own. Despite all this, I was still charged for the full rental—as if this were a normal, problem-free experience. It wasn’t. The way U-Haul handled this was unprofessional, inefficient, and incredibly time-consuming. I believe I am owed a full or substantial refund, and I’m happy to discuss this further. This was not the level of service anyone should expect when renting from a national brand like U-Haul.

This is no fault of the actual office, the cell service at this location is awful. It makes it extremely difficult to make after our check-in’s possible again no reflection to the actual U-Haul Office it’s more so the cell service.

There was no one on site, no one answered the phone when we called the facility. We spent 2 hours trying to figure out how to get the key to the truck. The truck size we rented was not available. We had to pay for the extra gas of the larger truck. Would not use this facility location again.
