The driver side mirrors were not functional. They were loose spinning around not being safe to drive with. Young man said it was noted on the contract. Ohh OK. Ask a person at the yard if he had a tool to fix it and he did. Thank you. Still not acceptable.
MICHEL CProblem from the get go and when youre moving and have a reservation these hiccups are time and money for the customer. First, our reservation moved from 20 minutes away to 60 minutes away for pickup. When we got there, it took the manager 3 different trailers to try to find one that didn't have a problem (1st one, trailer lights didn't work, 2nd one flat tire and round out tire = blow out). Third trailer was good until we got home and discovered equipment in the back that we did not order and was not on our contract. Contract was scribbled on with the 3 different trailer numbers. Trailer was FILTHY inside. So, not only did we have to drive extra wasting gas and time on my schedule, also have to go back and return this equipment to the place which another 60 minutes away which equals gas and mileage on my vehicle. I contacted U-Haul and they said to do a dispute when I returned from my trip. Lets hope they treat me well.

DIHONA PQuick and easy except the U-Haul app check in was not cooperating so the gentleman at the location helped ensure the equipment was checked in
Todd Cno one was there, as the location had closed. So I didn't meet anyone. I was however very satisfied with the self-return.

ELIZABETH VThe staff was exceptional, courteous and helpful in every way. It was disappointing that the company U-Haul could not guarentee the truck and auto transport could be picked up at the same location.
Daniel PManager at this location demanded the truck back before my time was up. Went to talk with her and she took the keys not allowing me to refuel and then over charged me for mileage. I paid cash to Austin the guy working when I rented the box truck which he pocketed and told his boss I never paid. I did have the receipt showing I paid him and still was charged. I had the truck 22 hours and was charged for 2 days. I was told by Austin who checked the truck out to me that I could store my contents I took out from my storage in Copperopolis in truck and come back two days later and rent truck again. I needed to stay in area because my daughter just decided she was getting baptized and I couldn’t miss it. The woman that over sees the office was extremely rude and did not allow me to rent truck again and told U-Haul something that created a e alert not allowing me to rent from U-Haul again. She says she made a judgement call based on me getting quotes of different locations and it seemed shady to her. I moved out of state but couldn’t afford the U-Haul to go to Henderson NV so decided I would rent the truck again and take it to Fremont with one month free storage. Fremont location worked ok because my grand daughters live there and I will be there in October. I was able to gather $100 for the rental to Fremont, but not the $347 to Henderson. Her not allowing me to rerent the truck I had caused a lot of unnecessary stress on me. I don’t know many people in the Jamestown area and nobody with a truck. I still had a few items in the storage in Copperopolis so I had to rent a smaller unit there and find someone willing to help me for nothing almost. I had nowhere to stay while I figured out how to get the stuffed U-Haul emptied and back into my storage. When I asked her for a receipt she said I emailed it. I requested a paper copy and she refused to give me a copy.

Manuel EThe Individual at the Jamestown location did not take care of anything. He did not have enough furniture pads or the furniture dolly. I was charged for them anyways and it was never taken off. The truck had a hair above a 1/4 of a tank not 3/8th of a tank which I have proof by a time stamped photo and receipts of first fill up. Never was corrected even though the worker in Jamestown knew about it and promised he would fix it. Wrote a note on my receipt, but was hard to get that out of him to. To top all of that I paid for 4 day rental. I return the truck the be charged for 2 days as its stating I only had 2 days not 4!!! So your billing me for days I Have already paid. OH and I am being billed for missing equipment which I never had to be missing and was charged for now twice. I hope you get it in contact with me soon about all this.
Paul SThe Jamestown U-Haul was clean and the people were pleasant and helpful. It was NOT where I had contracted to pick up my trailer, I was supposed to be able to pick it up at the McHenry Ave U-Haul in Modesto. Which is 45 miles out of my way. it wasn’t in any way convenient but I made it work. Apparently picking it up somewhere else changed the drop off point as well which caused some further issues.
