Pakmail itself is fine. But the Drop off location was not pre determined in the app, nor listed on the contract. I had to call 24/7 help to get approval to drop the trailer after hours (8pm). They originally gave me a drop location 150 miles away. It took 20 minutes on hold + 10 minutes of call time just to get approval to drop the one way trailer at my local uhaul dealer. This has happened to me twice now. Please figure this out so it's easy and I don't have to call every time.
BRYAN DYou should advise the owner to wait for all members of the customers party to leave the office before he starts taking about them. I went into the Pakmail location in Key West Florida Monday to see if he would be willing to help our local non for profit kids organization with a u haul so we could move our storage unit. He said he would do it for half pice. The Nice lady at the computer asked if I could provide proof I was in charge of the organization which I did (email of our units home page and My and the Organizations name on the debit card I used) and was on my way. When we got in the truck my 14yro son told me the guy said when I walked outside (he was still petting the dog) how was he supposed to know I was who I said I was and not just some random guy off the street (I don’t know how many people walk into his location and say they are the volunteer leader of a non for profit kids organization but ok) and why didn’t I just rent it from Midguard. I went to his location because he is local, I hear him on the radio regularly, and I also volunteer at the local sailing center where they recently helped with a U-Haul that I helped load, unload, and drove all weekend. Lesson learned next time I will go to Midguard.

Jennifer BFriendly, cheerful, courteous personnel. Prompt attention to the customer. Two big, wonderful dogs serve as greeters. A 6 X 12 was offered right away as a substitute trailer because the 5 X 9 that I had reserved had not been returned the previous evening as anticipated. I didn't have the proper lift on my receiver for a 6 X 12, so off we went right away to the storage yard in Stock Island. I was hitched to a second 5 X 9, and on my way in a blink. The option to return the trailer after-hours, simply by parking it on the lot, added to the convenience of the entire process.

The truck was spotless, and everything I asked for was in place, ready for a smooth pick up and return. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a UHAUL. They make moving fun!

ROBERT RThe new toy haulers is the way to go when towing any sort of vehicle. The only thing I would do is provide a way to lock the trailer to the tow vehicle.

JAMES PArea is very busy with traffic/pedestrians and would be difficult to maneuver a truck with a trailer attached since there is not much room.
