Actually clean the trucks and get better brakes. Don't charge so high for mileage. I was told before renting they clean the trucks. That was a big lie! I wiped it down with Lysol wipes and it was dirt blackNAOMIE M.

Good morning, I would like to speak with a customer service agent with regards to my experiences this last weekend. I had reserved a 10 foot U-Haul for a one way move of a few household items that would not fit in our cars (mattress, bed frame, desk, tv and a few other items). The move was from Gainesville to Miami. A distance of approximately 375 miles. We received word less then 24 hours in advance that I would have to pick up the U-Haul at a different, much less convenient location here in town and that all that was available was a 26 foot U-Haul. When I called back the facility, due to high customer calling, I was routed to a facility in Orlando. This person said that there was actually a 15 foot U-Haul we could use at the new location in Gainesville. I reserved that one although this was not ideal. When I arrived at the new facility, I was told that the Orlando person had only told me that there was a 15 foot U-Haul available to placate me and that the only thing available was the 26 foot U-Haul. While this was totally unacceptable, I had no choice but to take it under the circumstances. Close to $200 in gas, and several issues with where to park and drive this monster of a truck for the three day move I am beyond upset. I would like to discuss reimbursement for the rental and assistance with paying for this fuel. I feel that we were let down immensely by U-Haul in this case. We have used U-Haul almost exclusively for our many moves in the past 10 years and hope to use U-Haul in the future, but this experience has left us with a bad taste in our mouths. The drop-off address has been an issue. I requested a change when I took the truck. The location I requested has not been validated in the system. When I show up they could not take the truck. Uhaul Sent me to Frye's tool rental. The business was closed and no after hour drop off in a dangerous part of town, 30 min past where a came from. It even had electric fence with danger signs . I passed three U-Haul businesses on the way, why??? Rep Who helped change location was friendly as was the person receiving the truckWILLIAM S.

Clean and sanitize the trucks and make sure the right size trucks are available for customers that have reservations. The customer service rep was nice and made arrangements but in reality I spend more money in gas for a bigger truck I didn't need. The truck I got smelled like cigarettes really bad and I had a 4 hour ride. Never again I'm gonna buy my self a pick up truck after this experience.CLARIMUNDO E.

Personally every time I have a reservation it ends up putting me with an authorized dealer for uHaul and they don't know what they're doing If there's any issues. I picked up uhaul truck rental just fine that took longer than expected but I went back the next morning the 30th so they could attach auto transport and 2 hours later they still couldn't get it to work. They were banging on auto transport to get it to connect to uhaul which they were never able to do and wasted 2+ hours of my life. After that, they advised us they wanted us to go to another location to pick up auto transport which was the original location I had selected to begin with. My wish is that uhaul stop using authorized dealers bc it's harming the brand of uhaul.Misha R.

The truck was filthy inside and smelled horrible. It appears that they don't sanitize between rentals, and I would easy that the truck I used had never been cleaned (it had 16000 miles on it, so relatively new to be in such condition). The smell in the cabin was really bad.Jorge Q.

It was off to a really terrible start i got to my pickup location at 530pm the location 204 St nw 441 Miami Fl closes at 600pm went through the mobile checkout and went inside to get the key and they closed early called customer service and felt like it was my fault and needed to figure it out a hour and my third representative later I was sent to a new location mind you the previous location was fully paid almost $500 from the mobile check in and the new location requested an additional $53 deposit that has not been refunded the worst experience but the truck was reliable NEVER AGAIN!LARISA O.
