Not necessarily the location. I was booking for Friday and the website said it was available at a much closer location. I then was called and told it was not. So I was forced to drive 20 miles overall out of the way to pick up this truck, which costed much more fuel and $2.19 a mile. Where the location(s) .25 miles from either my old or new place. Apparently both locations could not rent the truck.

DAVID CFix your app, mobile check-in never works. I had to wait almost an hour until the facility opened because there was not a unit assigned to my reservation.
NOEL DThe review is a combination of the issue with Mobile App and location. 1) It took us an hour to complete the pickup with Mobile App, even with support. We're not idiots, we know how to use technology. The app was not working correctly, then moved we had to reauthorize due to going past our pick up time. This made us LATE to the location we needed to be. 2) Lock was old and rusted, took 10 minutes just to remove. 3) DID NOT RECEIVE THE APPLIANCE DOLLY WE NEEDED! This was the kicker. Due to now rushing to get to the location, upon arrival was when I found that I didn't even have the dolly I rented to complete what I needed to do. WASTED TIME AND MONEY!! Over $300 basically out the window.

Sandra SThe truck had some steering issues that weren't pleasant. The people were nice enough, but whole operation seemed dirty and like they really didn't care. I was given zero instruction on anything with the vehicle. They also charged for fuel when I already put fuel in it to get it back to where it was when I picked up the vehicle. Total crap! I'll definitely never use them, and maybe not even U-Haul again. There are other alternatives that seem nicer.
Chuck MFirst the Uhaul wasn’t cooperating, wouldn’t accept any pictures. Secondly code for the lock provided wasn’t working and had to wait an hour for place to open and someone to help me to retrieve keys from lock box. This made me late and 2 hours behind on my move… I wouldn’t recommend and am very dissatisfied with my experience. I would like a full refund if possible. Thank you.
Nicholas GGas was less than 1/4 when I was told 1/4 what’s the point I had to immediately go get gas… dirty truck inside and dirty box. Won’t rent from here again.

Steven SP and B automotive is an absolute excellent company. Has been fighting for my refund from U-Haul. U-Haul has refused to return my money. They have hung up and refused to talk to P and B automotive regarding the issues that I’m having about being overcharged. They have claimed that I have a refund waiting that has not been applied to my account this is going to be taken to corporate headquarters. It is now February 1 and I still have not received my refund for my U-Haul because of being canceled and overcharged, do not use the app. Do not use customer service through U-Haul only go in through a reputable company like P and B automotive and order to rent your U-Haul. If you decide to go through the app, you will have nothing but problems and you will get hung up on, and you will be refused. The money that you are owed. You are treated disrespectfully and you are treated Terribly through the customer service line that is directly through U-Haul and you will be overcharged. Please be aware when you use this company again go in through a reputable vendor like P and B automotive they are the only ones who will be able to help you if you truly do need to rent a U-Haul truck do not use app or their customer service you will be taken advantage of U-Haul is no longer the reputable company that they used to be. I’m still waiting for my refund.
Kathy YWould not recommend U-Haul. Received an email stating that I did not return my vehicle, even though I returned it early (1.5 hours on a 4 hour requested rental). Attempted to call customer service, after waiting on hold 1 hour, with no one answering, I hung up.
Thomas MWas told my CSR to be at Summit location at 9:30 am. Waited an hour. Workers showed up at 10:20am. The result was missing out of workers because of late start. Business is about your word, promptness, and accountability. This is my request before experience.

Dave HThe right sided light on the back of the trailer did not work and it was recommended that I take the trailer and report the problem when I returned it. Fortunately, we did not have any issues with the trailer but it is a little confusing that I was allowed to take this trailer.
Daniel HParking lot was completely full and impossible to turn around in. No assistance with hooking up the trailer. Definitely will not be back here to rent anything. Upon return employee was to busy on his phone to even acknowledge my existence in the room.

Victoria NMake sure that the company renting to a customer goes to the vehicle and goes over mileage and gas. It was empty when I got it and got charged to fill it with a surcharge. U-Haul is false advertisement.
Krystal BI rented a truck for 1 day. I was charged for 3 days. I spent more than a half of my day to get this overcharge corrected and credited 2 days against my credit card. Denise from U-haul called me at 9:21 AM, 25 Aug and asked if I returned the U-Haul truck. I informed her that the truck was used for one day and returned that evening and I have never received a receipt via email. An hour later I received a receipt and was charged 23-25 Aug for the truck. I called P&B Automotive were I picked up the U-haul and asked why I was charged for 3 days? P&B said they have no idea why and never spoke to U-haul. However, a Pic of the full gage was on the receipt which had to come from P&B automotive. Failure to manage and communicate between P&B Automotive and U-Haul should not be at the cost of the customer. I was extremely disturbed by the run around, dishonesty, lack of accountability with this experience.
GREG HThe truck had a major dent on the driver side that was not documented. The radio didn’t work and also could not charge phone while driving. The location was okay and the office was clean.
