I booked my truck online. The site allowed me to book equipment that I later found out was not even at the location offered. After I booked my equipment I followed up with a call to ensure that my moving needs were going to be met. At that time I was informed that Uhaul does not confirm any appointment until 24 hours before the reservation. 24 hours before the reservation I received a call and it was then that I found out that they did not have the size truck that I reserved anywhere in a 150 mile radius. Not only that there was no equipment at the location I chose at the reservation. We had to try to piece together something and I had a moving crew coming the next day but inadequate equipment and I had to drive 50 miles to pick it up. We ended up with a much smaller truck and a trailer and the moving crew had to make several trips adding more time and expense to my move. Uhaul did waive 230 mile but it threw the whole move into chaos. I will not depend on Uhaul again.Sandra C.

This truck was the most difficult Uhaul vehicle I have ever driven. The front end alignment was horrific and made it incredibly difficult to keep the truck straight on the road. The rear box door track needs some grease and the lock included with the truck did not work. I suspect it probably needs some grease as well because it would not open either. This location is one we have used many times and highly recommend it.Carmecely L.

I've rented U-Haul trucks maybe 10 times over the last 2 years, mostly different locations each time, the people and equipment have all been great, the prices are fair, the app for checking out and in is handy if you have to do it after they close or before they open, but if they're open when you pick up the equipment, its usually faster just to go to the counter, at least for me anyway.JOHN H.
When I booked the truck, it said a truck would be available at the uhaul in my current City. The day before my reservation at 10am my reservation was changed to a uhaul 30 miles away. The new uhaul closed at 11 am so when I called they were already closed and the phone didnt appear to work. The text said my pickup time was 8 am as requested. When I got to the uhaul, it didnt open until 9 am. I was told if i downloaded the app I could of gotten the keys from the lock box, but even if I did that I wouldn't of gotten the dolly and blankets I paid for because they weren't preloaded. The uhaul site itself wasn't well maintained. The employee was very nice. My recommendation is to not set expectations by letting people select a location because when it gets changed to a location 30 miles away the day before pickup, you get rather angry.Lonnie R.

I ordered and paid furniture pads which were NOT in the truck. The brakes were awful. The steering wheel made loud noises on every turn. The truck jerked and barely drive the entire time. I was able to schedule an 8:30am pick up. Yet the location did not open until 9am. The computer link needs to let the customer know this before allowing them to schedule a time when they are not open. Pat was great, very friendly, efficient and helpful. I've called and left several messages to confirm my reservation without any return calls. When we arrived I found my reservation had been canceled. This business did not have the equipment I had reserved nor the requested size truck. We had to settle for a smaller vehicle. The proprietor was unhelpful and did not really care about the situation. Older gentleman seems to be bothered by my feedback, there's was about 4 new car transporters on his lot and he insisted on me taking the oldest one . He said all the others had reservations only to find out in the morning when I dropped it off that he was lying because they was all there except for one when I dropped it off early this morning. I don't see why he lies or why it's so hard to have some decent customer service ! I reserved a unit and checked in early. When I went to pick up that unit at the time of openeing the unit was not only not there but that manager stated they never has that unit. He offered to get me a different one, I said okay, then after we switched he realized that that unit was "due" back by 8am and after several calls to a customer they finally called back and said they would need it for another day. We finally got into a smaller van, but that ended up forcing me to make multiple trips and cost me in mileage. This is a consistent issue.Mark C.

The service guy was great. However the corp.uhaul needs a lot of work. I booked my reservation a month in advance. I live is sc and had to drive over an hour to get the uhaul. To me that means you do not value my business you knew that I was needing a truck yet you could not provide me with one that was in my town. Not ok. Very poor service. If I was someone who did not book in advance then I understand. You had a month to get me a uhaul and I was told there was none. However driving home from work I did see a 26 footer at a gas station. This is unacceptable. Please take this into consideration. To win my business back in would love to talk to a regional manager to see how you plan to fix this issue. Thank younickos Z.
