The staff was so super friendly and extremely helpful, after a stressful move and running a little behind returning the truck the woman behind the counter was such a blessing! I forgot to put gas in because I was running late so she let me take it down the street to get gas instead of charging me! She also just laughed with me about all the craziness that was going on and that really brightened up my day!

Nothing, Hunter has helped us rent twice in the last couple of months. The service is outstanding, they help me hook up and test the lights. The prices are reasonable. I will not go anywhere else as long as Pearson's has a trailer available for me.

There is almost no parking for the trucks. After hours drop-off is not convenient. The only thing I saw was a lot of signs saying do not park here, but no indication of where to park. Next time I’ll drive further to have a better drop-off experience.

The 26 foot truck we rented had over 155,000 miles on it. It was covered with black "X"'s all over it from previous damage. We had to drive it over 1300 miles once we loaded it full and began driving the engine sounded like it was going to die. The drivers side door rattled. The windshield wipers were useless. And the gas mileage was terrible worse than any other 26 foot truck we have rented in the past.

The truck was very messy when I picked it up. The employees were slow to help me get the truck. I was charged for equipment I never used and that wasn’t even in the truck.

I mentioned at drop off that the air conditioning did not work or I could not figure out how to get it to work. Next time I will check that out when I pick up the unit. Also the wiper blades are getting stiff..

This is a small business. They are trying but don't have the space for a full-service U-haul location.

The 26 foot truck had problem with the brakes and steering. We just made it to our destination. The next day a mechanic come out, added some fluid and started that it should get us to our house. The next morning we left and only had to go 7-8 miles. To stop the truck you had to push the brake pedal to the floor. After we got it unloaded, I called U-haul and told them to come and get the truck. They called the mechanic to check it out. He started that he even drive it U-haul' s office and he is requesting a tow truck. A tow truck came and took it to the shop. Every person was outstanding to deal with, it just took extra time.

Again...no customer service skills. Dropping off the trailer. virtually no communication from the person other than pointing "put it over there" then "thats it ...you are checked in and walking off". I had to ask...do I get a receipt? Is there any paperwork? How do I get aknoledgement that I actually returned the trailer? Again felt like I was putting him out, or taking him away from something he would rather be doing. Phew...come on U-Haul...you can do better than this! A little bit of training would go a long way.

The cab had not been swept. There was a piece of dog poop in the cab, about the size of an average guy's thumb. A dog chew toy was on the floor, the windshield was splattered with bugs (i didn't want to back the truck back in to the rental yard, so I went to the facility from whom I made the reservation. [Layton, Utah], The manager there grabbed a washcloth and scrubbed the bugs off), the cab had a light smell of smoke, and no walk around to show any dents or scrapes. The people were very nice at the desk. The truck ran well, which was the most important thing.

They were helpful as far as getting me out on the road, but they told me I could drop off the uhaul trailer at any place at any time as long as they were a uhaul provider. They neglected to tell me I would be unable to remove the trailer by myself. This led to me trying to remove a trailer that couldn't be removed by myself for about an hour before I decided to take it to a different location that was holding open hours. That's when I found out the last hour of me tugging on the trailer was for nothing. It was a very frustrating situation, that could have easily been avoided with a better explanation for how I was to drop off the trailer.

The receptionist said she didn't know exactly what she was doing. I had a customer objection and the manager handed me off to uhaul customer service which did nothing about it.

I didn't get what I reserved. I sent my husband to get the trailer, believing we would get the correct sized trailer. We were given the next size up which was $10 a day more. By the time he got home with it, it was too late to go back and get the correct one. It cost me an extra $40. I am not a fan of this kind of dishonesty. Also, what's up with not renting to any ikind of Ford? Our V8 Explorer was made for towing! We had to borrow a car as well! We won't be back.

The lack of communication between locations and Uhaul corporate is astoundingly poor. I reserved a truck from this location and received a confirmation number and email for a Saturday pick-up to use for an important convention. For some unknown reason, I decided to call that location to confirm my time for pick-up. The location representative informed me that they were closed Saturday through Monday so I wouldn't be able to get a truck. He gave me the number to call. I asked why I was given a confirmation number and email from Uhaul. He couldn't answer that question, but did say that they informed corporate about it and if they let you reserve the truck, it's their fault. I asked if I hadn't called the day before what would have happened Saturday when I went to pick up the truck? He said that I would have been disappointed. I ended up spending 90 minutes on the phone with four different Uhaul reps from corporate. There were no trucks available in my area (even though I had a confirmation from you). I ended up having to make my wife miss my daughter's volleyball tournament a day before to pick up a truck. I had to find safe parking for it over night and deal with all the hassle. I made sure to ask corporate for a discount for this outstanding performance of ineptitude, but as expected, incompetence and lack of understanding for customers' livelihoods seized the day. I will avoid at all costs in renting a Uhaul again. I will always seek other companies from now on. You really need to get your act together and communicate with your representatives so no one reserves a truck at a location that is closed. Well done, Uhaul..Well, done.

We returned the truck late at night when closed. We weren't sure where we were to park the truck nor where the drop box was. There appeared to be two businesses at the same location and neither of them were labeled UHaul. We just left the truck next to the building and sidewalk. We found out later that was where it was to be left. I would have liked better instructions for leaving the truck after hours. All that being said, the place did look clean.

Honor your original RESERVATION! Really messed up the entire moving experience. Although U-Haul provided another smaller vehicle with a trailer, it wasted half of my day. We were still loading at 1:30 in the morning. Not happy.
