Everything went well. My trailer was due back on Monday the 20th but their location is closed on Mondays and no one informed me when I rented the trailer. Because of that I was charged another day but they were quick to reverse the charge. Overall, everything was great!Janelle M.

Under normal circumstances, the equipment would have been 'acceptable', but not particularly great. It was dusty on the inside and had a fair amount of grime on the frequently touched areas (handles, steering wheel, etc.). Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't even notice, but with the pandemic, I expected a little more attention to cleaning the cab of a truck like this.LANE T.

The staff was so super friendly and extremely helpful, after a stressful move and running a little behind returning the truck the woman behind the counter was such a blessing! I forgot to put gas in because I was running late so she let me take it down the street to get gas instead of charging me! She also just laughed with me about all the craziness that was going on and that really brightened up my day!Jason D.

There is almost no parking for the trucks. After hours drop-off is not convenient. The only thing I saw was a lot of signs saying do not park here, but no indication of where to park. Next time I'll drive further to have a better drop-off experience.Jason P.

The 26 foot truck we rented had over 155,000 miles on it. It was covered with black "X"'s all over it from previous damage. We had to drive it over 1300 miles once we loaded it full and began driving the engine sounded like it was going to die. The drivers side door rattled. The windshield wipers were useless. And the gas mileage was terrible worse than any other 26 foot truck we have rented in the past.Philip L.

The 26 foot truck had problem with the brakes and steering. We just made it to our destination. The next day a mechanic come out, added some fluid and started that it should get us to our house. The next morning we left and only had to go 7-8 miles. To stop the truck you had to push the brake pedal to the floor. After we got it unloaded, I called U-haul and told them to come and get the truck. They called the mechanic to check it out. He started that he even drive it U-haul' s office and he is requesting a tow truck. A tow truck came and took it to the shop. Every person was outstanding to deal with, it just took extra time.

Again...no customer service skills. Dropping off the trailer. virtually no communication from the person other than pointing "put it over there" then "thats it ...you are checked in and walking off". I had to ask...do I get a receipt? Is there any paperwork? How do I get aknoledgement that I actually returned the trailer? Again felt like I was putting him out, or taking him away from something he would rather be doing. Phew...come on U-Haul...you can do better than this! A little bit of training would go a long way.brian T.

The cab had not been swept. There was a piece of dog poop in the cab, about the size of an average guy's thumb. A dog chew toy was on the floor, the windshield was splattered with bugs (i didn't want to back the truck back in to the rental yard, so I went to the facility from whom I made the reservation. [Layton, Utah], The manager there grabbed a washcloth and scrubbed the bugs off), the cab had a light smell of smoke, and no walk around to show any dents or scrapes. The people were very nice at the desk. The truck ran well, which was the most important thing.david W.
They were helpful as far as getting me out on the road, but they told me I could drop off the uhaul trailer at any place at any time as long as they were a uhaul provider. They neglected to tell me I would be unable to remove the trailer by myself. This led to me trying to remove a trailer that couldn't be removed by myself for about an hour before I decided to take it to a different location that was holding open hours. That's when I found out the last hour of me tugging on the trailer was for nothing. It was a very frustrating situation, that could have easily been avoided with a better explanation for how I was to drop off the trailer.michael W.
