There was what appeared to be blood on the inside walls of the truck which clearly were not cleaned in between customers

Andrew KWhen someone books equipment a month in advance. They should know right away if it is available or not. Not three days before it is needed. Also, there needs to be a way to indicate how long it is needed when booking. No one should have to be forced to bring back equipment early because the company overbooked.

Tina PThe location is great. But I have a big problem with the rental process. I rent through a national account. When I need a rental, it’s not for a day or 2, it’s for a week or two (possibly even more) consecutively. I always get the run around when trying to book a truck for more than 2 days at a time. If I need a truck and it’s there, rent it. You’ll get it back when I’m done with it. You’re making money the whole time, so I don’t understand why this is a problem. Especially for a national account. I’ve already made inquires to more accommodative alternative solutions for us.
VINCE BNothing to improve. Made for a very convenient and easy drop-off, especially when we could top up the tank before return at the same location.
James KIt was a gas station and the young man behind the counter was busy serving customers buying gas and he told us just to park the truck in the back, leave the key with him and his manager would take care of the rest (when he eventually showed up).

MICHAEL BWhen I picked up the truck I did not open the back to inspect. When i got to the location to load the truck and opened the back it was very dirty with dried mud everywhere in the back.
DAVID PStaff were very nice and helpful. My only criticism is that I tried to call them ahead of time to check all the details but never got an answer or a return call. The U-haul reservation rep I dealt with on the phone to make the reservation was also very helpful. However U-haul's "system" does not seem to communicate with itself. I checked in and scanned my license and printed the reservation the day before but when I arrived it took 20 minutes for the poor attendant working on the computer and calling the manager a few times to get it to work. Even after that, the return also took 10 minutes of similar efforts. At least the price was very competitive!
Peter RPerson on the phone when I arrived to return the trailer, and did not hang-up. Pointed to the area where the Trailer should be left, and that was it. Received a Phone Call 2 days ago asking when I was going to return the Trailer. Clearly the Person at this location did not book the Trailer back in. I'm Thankful there were no additional Rental Charges because of this.
ALLAN EDidn’t receive any confirmation from the location person when I dropped off the trailer. The address I was given was not a functioning location.
RICHARD DLocking trailers to prevent theft or misuse
Megan LStore was dirty, truck was dirty, things were damaged. The truck was almost empty on fuel and the trip sheet was incorrect. The cashier wasn’t very helpful. There wasn’t anywhere to park.
Lucas MKey was not in the key lock box where it was supposed to be. Gas station attendant couldn't find it. Took about 30 minutes for the gas station attendant to locate key. Truck was very dirty on the inside - garbage on floor, old fries in the cup holder, back of truck full of debris. The old Petawawa location did a great job, and was well located for Petawawa residents. I ended up having to pay more for my rental only because there isn't a uhaul close to me - I had to drive 20 min to get to this location, where there used to be one 5 min from me. If the Petawawa location were still around I would have saved at least $40 from mileage and gas, and we wouldn't have had trouble getting the key - and they kept the condition of the trucks cleaner.

Dan FThe equipment was cleaned and the maintenance was OK, but the truck had trouble starting at one point, after which the Check Engine light came on. The truck seemed to run OK and the oil, coolant and voltage gauges were well within normal range, and it continued to operate without trouble. The truck was very noisy on initial startup until the Towing mode button was pressed, after which it was much less noisy. I would have appreciated a method other than a review page to submit mechanical concerns.

Kristin DThe trailer had a slow leak in one of the tires, it almost left me stranded with my new Harley Davidson loaded on it. The tire could have blown or come off if I hadn't noticed it was pulling funny. This is completely unacceptable to me and could have easily wrote off a twenty thousand dollar motorcycle and damaged my truck. When I called the nearest depot to get help, they were completely rude and would not change/repair the tire or exchange it for a trailer in good working order. I had to fix the issue myself resulting in lost time.

ANDREW KThe inside of this location is a disaster. It was dirty, one of the fridges had multiple exploded cans, and you could tell it had been there for a while. It was still there when I returned the vehicle hours later. The vehicle still had personal items from the previous user, and there was so little gas left in the tank as soon as I got on the road I was given the “ 50 km to E “ warning. When I brought the vehicle back I was asked to bring it to another location because they expected to receive more vehicles and it would be a tight fit on the lot.

TODD OAbsolutely nothing, the two staff members I dealt with were absolutely excellent, it was extremely easy, fast and convenient for me to acquire this rental vehicle. The next day when I returned the vehicle it was the same situation, it was very easy, quick and the staff were very professional again. I would definitely recommend this location to my friends.

MARK JRental was made on the Friday for the Monday at 6am. The U-Haul was unlocked but there were no keys to be found anywhere. Luckily omeone showed up- I'm assuming a worker starting their shift at 6:30am. We asked about keys. He came back with them saying "Oh, they must have forgotten to put them in the lockbox". There was no way for us to get the keys - this wasted our time.

DARIN LI rented the trailer on October 2nd 2024 to be used for a few trips travelling to London, Ontario and back to Pembroke. The trailer had no running lights when i left the yard. I had the owner tape the conversation knowing that there were no running lights on the trailer. Unfortunately time got away and i was unable to safely drive in the dark and had to stay over an extra night. This did not allow me to use the trailer to its fullest potential of what i paid for. I drove the trailer down to the London yard and dropped it off. The gentlemen there said this was unacceptable and i should write to u-haul for reimbursement. I now have to rent another trailer this week to do what should have been done with one rental agreement. Contract #10547871

GERARDUS VThe location was clean but not inviting in anyway disorganized staff had no idea what they were doing and would start my return then stop and help a different customer and then stay over again he did this on 5 separate occasions and that is not expectable made me feel like a second class citizen compared to everyone else like I did not matter he should have finished my return as I was there first I should not have to have him start over 5 times will never recommend this location ever

Ray RThere is very little room for vehicles, and it is especially difficult for people with little trailer experience backing in. Uhaul messed up my reservation (not the site where I picked it up). I asked for an auto flatbed trailer, and the smallest vehicle they had capable of towing it. The vehicle reservation never happened. The place I was supposed to pick up the rentals was closed. I was eventually given a 24 foot truck to transport my VW engine. I asked for a small vehicle because of the tight quarters in which I would be operating. I took the front bumper off a car in the parking lot as a result. I paid much more than I should have in vehicle rental, gas, and now of course, whatever the deductible on the insurance is.
Ian MThe only things I’d probably add is to have the gas filled up id like to think that if someone is paying money for something it should be either half full or just full because people who are moving already put tons of money out just to have a new place so I’m sure it would be a good things for not only the business but the customer
