AILIENNE KOther than losing a few hours of our trip as the trailer had broken leaf springs, i was scared to drive and hurt the trailer, so we had to wait at a dealer for approval to switch, it went great. Pete's was fantastic to deal with.

JAMS MOrdered truck 1month in advance , thinking pickup was going to be 20/30 away. Instead it was a 4 hour round trip to pick the truck and trailer up. Not Campbellfords locations fault. The process U-Haul has is somewhat ridiculous and not customer friendly.

edith cThis has nothing to do with the pick up or drop off locations, it is about the way the company is run. So I book my truck in advance, a 20’ truck to be picked up in Norwood Ontario 10 mins from my place. The day before I’m set to move I get a call from U-Haul tell me the don’t have a truck in Norwood. They now want me to pickup a truck in Madoc which is 28 mins from my place. I’m not happy bout now wasting nearly an hour picking this truck up, they give me $40 off the $195 rental and an additional 150km Bri going the total to 210 km for free as the charge .89¢ a km. On the morning of my move I get a ride to Madoc to find out there is no truck there. They rented it out the day before and was due back the same day at 6pm. They try calling can’t reach customer right away but eventually are told they got tired and stopped unloading so they still need the truck. I in the meantime am on hold with 1 - 800 number for U-Haul for like 15mins decide to hang up and start calling area locations for a truck. I find a 26’ truck in Campbellford. We now start the 40 min drive to Campbellford While on the drive I get thru on the toll free number and rework my contract for pick up in Campbellford and get the even bigger truck for $100. Will I ever personally rent again not a chance in HELL
Dale WI'm not sure whose job it is to maintain the trailers, but the trailer I got was in rough shape. The person at the location seemed generally surprised and upset by the way the trailer was left. It wasn't horribly dirty, but it had misc. bit of wood bark, plastic beads and broken glass in it. Also, you could tell that the front wall of the trailer was leaking. All of the tires were different treads and tread depths, so the trailer tended to cause a vibration and bounce around behind the truck. Also, when I left the location the trailer had 5 clearance lights out and a sixth burnt out before I returned. The guy at the location took pictures and documented the discrepancies. Ultimately the important stuff worked and I was able to complete my task, but in all the times that I have rented from U-Haul, that was by far the worst condition the equipment has been in.

Jeff BWell we were only supposed to bring it back with 1/4 tank of fuel. We had 5/8s of a tank button money refunded.
Edith BThe app and Uhauls computer system gave me and them a lot of trouble. The app still doesn’t work and I have given up trying to sign into it. The malfunctioning computer booking system caused multiple issues with my booking and nearly cost me a lot of money. Fix it.
