The customer service and knowledge of U-Haul at this location are not great. When I arrived the attendant said they only had trucks because there were two dropped off. I told him I had a reservation for one of them. He seemed clueless. He did say they “didn’t have the system to do the contract”. Perhaps I was supposed to do everything on my app, but I didn’t know that because this was the first time I had ever not gone to an actual U-Haul location. He suggested I call U-Haul, and eventually the regional manager told him to just give me the key. It took about 30 minutes to get out the door. Upon drop off, the second attendant said I had parked it in the wrong place, even though I had parked it where I found it. Then when I bright the key in for the second time, he said I needed to check out on the app. Ok no problem. He did not say I needed to check out on the app before leaving the location. I got to my dinner with my son and started the app while we waited for our table, only to find out that I needed to still be at the vehicle. I drove back (luckily it was only about 8 minutes), followed the app instructions, then returned to my son. When I went back to check out, I explained to the attendant how it would be better if he had told me to check out on the app before I leave. He said “I notified you to check out on the app” as if that was sufficient. I explained it was not sufficient as I had never rented U-Haul with the app before. The truck, reservation system and app were all great bi felt it was the customer service and communication and knowledge of the staff at this satellite location, that could be improved.

The whole process was terrible. Drove 45 minutes to pick up the truck. Back was dirty so we had to sweep before bringing everything in. Not the biggest deal. They didn't do any paperwork or drivers license check which lead to problems with drop off

Daniel SI had to drive farther out than the location I booked for this truck and when I arrived to pick up there was no clear instructions for picking up the keys or what process to follow. Luckily the store manager at the Petro gas station was helpful but I would’ve expected Uhaul to be more informative.

Message said there was a 63 minute wait time for call to be answered. I left my number waiting for a return call….once received, the agent hung up. I will never deal with a remote location again. Not sure I would use Uhaul services again
Sesto FPut the lock box somewhere where there is light. Its hard at nighttime to hold a flashlight and unlock the lock.
Rajeet SNot change the location last minute and also make it easier to retrieve the key. It was very unorganized and inconvenient. Very poor service and would not recommend Uhaul overall to other people.
