Checking the truck out was a nightmare. We weren't sent any kind of "code" and the person at the counter (this is a restaurant) had no idea how to check out the truck. We had to call customer service (and were on hold for awhile), then the customer service person (who was very nice) had to figure out what we needed to do next, which was to try numerous combinations on the lock to open the truck. Once we finally figured that out, we had to take a bunch of pictures (which was fine except that it took up more time to take the pictures). It literally took us almost an hour from the time we got to the rental place, until we could actually drive the truck. I think I prefer using an actual UHaul location with a person.

My original pick up and drop off location was changed due to the facility not having the truck. I was told the $50 guarantee would be added to my account but it was not. Super disappointed I had to pay extra mileage because the location I chose didn’t have the equipment after online it says it was available. I feel I should not be responsible for the extra miles seeing it was a U-Haul issue.
