The truck was fine, but when I returned it a few hours later, the representative did not put it in the system. I got multiple emails and calls saying that the truck was not returned. I have to call customer service to resolve the issue.

Specifically chose an in-person location and instead was directed to this application only one. Truck was missing the furniture pads and utility dolly. Sent to another location who had pads but no utility dolly. Sent to yet another location that also didn't have a utility dolly who convinced me to substitute an appliance dolly that was ultimately not helpful moving boxes. Was told I was to get a 15 mile additional allowance but does not appear it was done. Snow on windshield but location had no ice scraper. Had to use my hands and a piece of cardboard to clear the wind shield. Wasted 2 hours in traffic and gas between three locations in three towns. The truck's radio was broken as well.
Eli HOver charged me I went less then 10 miles and the charged me for 65 miles. Not acceptable. Will never use U-Haul again.
BENITA LThe person that was there to help wasn’t patient nor wanted to help, he kept saying he didn’t know anything. Which delayed my pick up about 40 minutes. I rented a furniture cart and it wasn’t inside the van neither he had it, so it was just a waste of money because I ended up having to carry out everything. I have never had problems with U-Haul before, but this time I’m not happy with the service provided.
FABIANO PThis manager at this location - 165 South 6th Street, Newark, NJ 07103 informed me they will be closed at the time i complete my move and I could not return the truck to them the same day. He advised me to find a location with a Dropbox which I did. I returned the truck to U-haul Linden NJ around 8pm same day and was billed $270 for returning truck to a wrong location. I find this ridiculous and deceptive. I have disputed the wrong charge at both U-Haul an stopped the charge at my bank. At this time I was promised a call back from the U-Haul location manager within 48 hours. I am waiting for that call.
ISAAC OI had an issue with getting a truck on the first day. I was supposed to pick up my truck at 10 o’clock. I wasn’t able to get my truck until 1145 then to return the truck the street was blocked off so it was an issue with me returning the truck late. This whole experience sucked. I do not recommend this location for no one.
SEBRIVIOU SThea remote drop off self drop off was cumbersome and there was not great internet service. I also don’t like that I had to travel to another pick up spot then where I booked

Dorothy SI NEVER GOT MY TRUCK. NEVER GOT THE EQUIPMENT TO TOW MY CAR. LOCATION HAS NO REGULATED HOURS. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT AND I WAS BILLED FOR SERVICES I DIDNT RECEIVE. CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE. GOT THE RUN AROUND AND NO REPRIEVE. I AM A FAITHFUL U HAUL CUSTOMER OF 25 YEARS AND THIS WAS THE WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT MY EXPERIENCE WAS ROTTEN TO THE CORE. CHARGED FOR A TRUCK I COULD NOT USE BECAUSE OF A CAR TOW THEY DID NOT HAVE. U HAUL CAN AND MUST DO BETTER.

Raynice MI chose 24/7 share service and it still took me 1 hour to get the car with the agency. First of all, they have the key, which doesn’t make any sense and even cost me extra time. They got many many errors due to the system and took me too much time. When I return the car, your system sucks! It took me another 45 minutes. This is your 24/7 sharing system. I won’t recommend it.
