The uhaul was clean and smelled nice inside the only thing wrong is it ran really hard and almost seemed like it didn’t want to run at all, I didnt feel safe or confident that I’d make it to my location or get my move completed and make it back to turn in the uhaul but I made it!

The equipment was very old rusty you could barely use the dolly straps to ratchet the tire down on the top on the tow dolly! Also, there was a clerical error with my payment and call U-Haul about it. U-Haul told me to call the place about it where I got it from and all the owner kept doing was hanging up on me telling me to call U-Haul. It was their problem not his they’re rude and disrespectful in the first place didn’t even have it and I still not gotten a $50 from the Saturday before why I didn’t get to even get the dolly because it wasn’t at the place then this place didn’t have the dolly I had to end up going to this place that I went to some store instead of the U-Haul store itself! So two days in a row signing up online ahead of time to get the equipment I never did get the equipment from the correct place that I did online and yet never received my $50 payment just crappy service all the way around you didn’t commit to what you even said you would do as U-Haul!

Store representative lied about fuel level and argued saying it was over half when truck was right at half a tank he did eventually agree and settled the matter but was very rude in doing so

Rudest customer service I;'ve experience at a u-haul dealer ever. Refused to help me back up the trailer or unhitch it. He told me "to go somewhere else then." I was lfortunate that a fellow customer took pity on me and out of the goodness of his heart, helped me out. I have a couple of more upcoming trips, but I defintely will not be going to this location again.

I only rated this as above average, because I was not told by anyone that the equipment that I requested had to be picked up and put in the truck myself. But no problem the service was very friendly and quick.

The truck had no brakes and set back our move 5 hours until a new truck could be obtained from another location. Very disappointing experience.

Dirty vehicle. cell phone pick-up did not work. Gentleman in the store said he couldn't help and I had to call u-haul. Then, spent 30 minutes on the phone getting it done.

Store customers came first, I waited too long to get in and out. Truck was fifthy inside and out, gas tank not full., no boxes or tape to purchase. Never will I go with U Haul for next move period

The 1st location that I went to and had reservations at didn't have my truck even though u haul guaranteed me it would be there. Tried calling u haul about it but no luck even getting them on the phone. If it wasn't for pjm food store I don't know what I would've done.

The truck was dirty inside, there was a headlight out on trucks high beam, and check engine light was on. The location was supposed to be open at 8:00am, and my reservation was at 8:00, but owner did not show up until 8:02 to open location. Even though I had checked in online, it was still 8:45 before I was able to get going. The online inspection had pictures of the wrong truck, so I had to take all new pictures. The truck itself had 148000 plus miles on it, so I was worried it could break down at any moment. At the end of the day we got moved, but the uhaul experience added another layer of aggravation I didn’t need.

THE TRUCK WAS INFESTED WITH BABY, EGG CARRYING ROACHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE, AND I HAVE DONE A LOT OF MOVING w/UHAUL OVER THESE 51 YEARS. I NEEDED TO USE UHAUL TO MOVE ITEMS FOR A BABY SHOWER! I WAS WORKING. I AM AN EVENT PLANNER. THE FIRST THING THAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY WAS I WENT TO PICK UP MY UHAUL THAT I HAD RESERVED, AND THE LOCATION WAS CLOSED. THE NATURE OF MY RESERVATION HAD CHANGED, AND UHAUL DID NOT NOTIFY ME BEFORE HAND. MY EVENT SETUP STARTED AT 12, BUT I HAD TO PICK UP FOOD!!!! BY 11:30!. I could not put FOOD that I was about to serve in that UHAUL. So, we sprayed and sprayed and sprayed. Those ROACHES dropped, but they didn’t die. I did not have time to go buy a can of roach spray!!!! I had to pick up FOOD at 11:30 and start set up for my event at 12:00. So. We sprayed and stomped and packed things away from the walls so ROACHES would not fall on or on my totes. My TV broke!!! When the load shifted my TV Moved and cracked because I could not properly pack my things next to the wall. At the end of my event, a teeenie, tiny baby ROACH crawled out of one of my containers. Luckily, no one else saw!!!! My son said that when he opened THE RUSTY HARD TO OPEN HATCH AFTER MY EVENT, ROACHES SCATTERED!!!!! After all that spraying and stomping, ROACHES STILL SCATTERED!!!! NEEDLESS TO SAY, I UNLOADED ALL MY TOTES TO MY PORCH BECAUSE I DONT WANT EGG CARRYING BABY ROACHES IN MY HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want my money back, and I want compensation for my TV. I could not play my video presentation during my event!!!!!!!! I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN MY LIFE! That truck is not indicative of UHAULS brand. Oh and it was LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The truck itself was a disaster. It was missing its front passenger side blinker, the driver’s side bright headlight was out, there were scrapes all down the side of it, and the cab and the van was extremely dirty. When I returned the truck, I filled the gas up to the same amount that was in it when I got it, at 5/8 of a tank. They told me it was only filled up to 1/2 a tank. I went back to take a picture of the fuel gauge, and they still wouldn’t believe me. All they had to do was walk out to the truck and look at it themselves. While I was attempting to return the truck, the cashier kept interrupting my process to take orders for their gas station. It was an overall disappointing experience.

this was the second place i had to go because smart phone pick up method would not work and no one at location to help. talked to 5 representatives before resolved.

The gear shifter in the truck did not work and while the staff at Pjm was kind and prompt I had a one way that I was told to return to Pjm by the staff which cost me 50 extra miles... the whole rental experience was a total nightmare! I have rented with uhaul many many times but after this go round I will go elsewhere.

The reservation system is terrible. I started at AAA Private Self Storage. They said I had a truck for the next day but we would need to pick it up at Prime Auto Exchange Location. Because of past problems I drove to Prime Auto and found they did not and would not have a truck. Helpful folks at Prime Auto told me a truck would be available for me at PJM Food store but it was not there yet. I drove to PJM at 9:00, saw the truck, and the manager confirmed it was for me. All’s well that ends well but without my extra effort I would have been frustrated and delayed the morning if the move. I found a half-smoked cigar in the drink holder that caused a strong smell in the cab.

Hard to understand the lady at times. She was trying to check out customers while trying to rent the uhaul to me and another gentleman. Took bout 45 min to an hour to the trailer reserved for 12 noon didn't get it til 1
