the person who helped us was so obnoxious and unfriendly and told us we were stupid when we asked a question. I would never recommend picking up from this place ever again- fortunately truck was fine

For long way distances, it would be better to rent a dual-axle trailer than a single-axle one because that bounces a lot, and feels like being discriminated against on long one-way rentals

Adam DFirst, I had tried to modify my reservation and change the return time of the rental. Although there was an option to edit, it only gave me a message that no vehicle was available and I could not make any changes. Then, when I went to pick up the van, I attempted to use the app for a "seamless" pick up, according to the confirmations I had received. However, It said the vehicle wasn't available, even though I was looking at it! I went into the shop and explained the situation and was told I had to call the general U-haul number. The woman I spoke to was extremely unhelpful, saying there was no vehicle available and wanted to give me options at other locations! I had an appt to keep and wasn't going to travel around looking for another van. The owner of the shop looked it up in his system, trying to help me get on my way, but reached the same error message. He then had to call the district manager, go through more edits on the computer, before it was finally straightened out and I was given the keys. My "seamless" pick took almost an hour. Later, we were late in returning the van due to a situation out of our control. When I returned it, I was presented with a bill twice what was originally estimated. I will never use U-Haul again.
