Didn't look like the truck had been checked in by the location. There was damage to the step on the driver's side that had not been previously reported or recorded. I made an online report with pictures before I took the truck. Even though the truck only had 6,000 miles and was fairly new, the front end was out of alignment and the steering wheel was about 45Â° off center to the left and pulled to the right while driving. Truck bed had broken glass, sand, dirt, and sticky brown fluid left over from previous renter. Fuel cap was left off of fuel tank from previous renter. Check engine light came on shortly after leaving rental locationMalcolm B.
Usung the App I uploaded a photo of the vehicle cab being dirty. When I was closing out the rental less than 4 hours later to the same location the App asked me if the vehicle was clean for the next user. I stated no and got charged a $20.00 cleaning fee. I was told that I would be refunded but the rental personnel did not know how to correct it. This was very convenient. It seemed like a rip off. $189.00 to travel approx 120 miles in less than three hours to the same rental location is a rip off. Not happy at all with this experience.Gregory F.

The person who helped us didn't explain why we couldn't rent the car hauler and became angry to the point of wanting to fight when I made gestures like I didn't understand.We rented the car dolly which was not securely attached to my truck by the site employee and came off while loading the car to be towed putting a two fist sized dent in my tailgate.richard W.

Strike one ordered a 6x12 trailer almost a month in advance. Two days before pickup receive call equipment not available so you gave me a 5x8 trailer. Strike two Picked up the 5x8 to find lights didn't work. 2nd trailer was great. Not having what was requested cost me time and money. Trailer was not road worthy when ready for pickup as one tire was bald and completely unserviceable. Additionally the staff were less than helpful and had to get the roadside assistance team to provide me with a new tire. Overall it delayed my trip by a few hours because the equipment was never inspected when turned in after the last rental.STEVEN C.
Have a dedicated representative to service U-Haul business. One rep was working both the gas station and U-Haul portion at the same time. I waited 45 minutes just to pick up a trailer. Also, it seems like they had issues with their internet and printer. They didn't have malice intent but pretty unprofessional. I would recommend U Haul conducts a review of this location.Camero S.

Waited over 45 mins because of unavailable staff. Then there were no dollies available even though I reserved one. Had to drive the truck to another location to rent a dolly. They only had one staff and waited another 45 mins to be told they just ran out. Entire process cost me 2 hours of time and the trouble of moving without a dolly. Then waited 30 mins to return the truck. Then was charged over $100 for being late turning the truck in. Moving 1,100 miles away in 3 weeks and will definitely use another company.Scott M.

This location was a gas station with a convenience store and U-Haul location. They had 1 person working the counter and every time someone wanted to pay for gas or buy anything the attendant left my transaction and help the other person. It took much longer than any other location I have used. The attendant did not bother to check the trailer or make sure it was hooked up properly and the lights worked. I reserved a rental truck a week in advance, the day i was scheduled to pick up my truck, i was informed it would be available in the afternoon, then i was informed the truck wouldn't be available until the next day... I will never deal with an independent U-Haul Dealer.. I will only go to a U-Haul Authorized location... my worst experience ever with U-Haul... I had friends scheduled to help me for my move and U-Haul let me down... what is the point of a reservation a week in advance when you have no truck available on the day of my scheduled move...?Jeffery L.
A gas station with a few trailers away from three closer locations. When I mentioned I was stationed at Fort Polk, LA and did not understand why the receptionist did not recognize those locations. After she charged me the store clerk mentioned how come I did not say I was in the military. The agent at the drop off location was a stark contrast to the pickup location. He was outside smoking when I arrived, he appeared annoyed he had to cut his break short. He told me where to drop the equipment of and come inside where my paperwork would be ready. I went out and unhooked, after returning inside he was chatting with another employee, for not have anything ready and then incorrectly quoted me the amount due. The drop off agent was short with his responses, rude, and hostile. I would drive out of my way to avoid this location and find one with better service.MICHAEL R.

It's not a real U-haul location, it's a gas station with some U-haul equipment. 2/3 staff I had to deal with didn't know much about the U-haul part of the business. I wasn't fully helped, I was given incorrect information, and was almost charged extra for a system issue. They are also poorly organized.Clarizza R.

I rented 1/2 dz blankets. I don't know if there was really 6 in there or not because they come bundled in saran wrap. Went to return truck and only had 5 "blankets". They have charged me OVER $7.00 for that thing you call a blanket. I have some extra here from previous moves. I will bring in the sixth blanket and I want a refund of my $7.74!!!!!!!! This is absurd. The person had no idea what he was doing. He told us that! He had to call a rep. After over an hour!
