The keys were not in the lock box. When we first arrived, we spoke with the convenience store employee and asked about the keys. He said we needed to make a call. So we called, both is us calling different places. Finally after opening all of the boxes, we went back into the store and were finally told that the employee actually had the keys and all we needed to do was show him the email. We wasted 30 minutes at this location when we were about a mile and a half from a main U-Hail depot which was our original rental spot and U-Haul changed the location to a third party pickup location. The main U-Haul depot had at least 3 of the trucks type we were renting. Just a bit frustrating to start the full days move.

Worst experience ever. Do not use.
Lj DAttendant was clearly unfamiliar with the rental process. He had to call support even though nothing unusual occurred. The location did not have the other equipment (utility dolly, furniture pads) that I had also reserved--so I was forced to make alternate arrangements at the last minute. Nothing about this experience was pleasant. The truck looked fine visually, but there was some kind of issue with the winshield or perhaps the passenger window that caused a horrible whining sound at highway speed. 2-1/2 hours of that was enough to drive me crazy.
