Carl M.I was sent to this location by UHaul because the Schroon Lake location was reportedly closed. When I got to Port Henry, this location was not open. The UHaul messages that I received while driving said I should go to Schroon Lake. I called UHaul for help, and at first I was told that I needed to go to Schroon Lake. After I explained that I had driven 40 extra miles to drop off the truck where UHaul wanted it, I was told Port Henry was full up and could not accept more one-way trucks. After I stood my ground, the representative relented. Then I explained that the key drop was broken open and would not close. There was already a key in it (who knows for how long). I was told to place my key in it and to take a picture of it in the box and a pic of the truck as well. I did that and went my way after being told my checkout was completed. Then, today, I got my bill. There was a $20 surcharge for the extra mileage I drove to take the truck to Port Henry (per UHaul's directions). I will not use UHaul again.

Cecile M.U-Haul needs to let the customer know that the location will be open or closed before the customer arrives at the location. The U-Haul sign at this particular location needs to be larger so it is more easily seen from the road.

tom D.I arrived at 8am to pick up my equipment and it was not ready, I had to take only the truck and return later to pick up the auto transport, mind you this took an hour out of my day to handle on top of actually having to load my stuff up. On top of that they never cleared the snow from the trailer or the box truck. Very stressful experience.

Marla R.Your website showed a trailer available at location that I originally wanted to pick up, only to find out that I had to drive 40 minutes each way out of my way to get the trailer. You need to present trailer availability when reservation is made, not the day before. Aside from that, no other issues.
