SHENGKAI SWorst customer service ever. These guys at the store act as if they are the only one store who has UHaul service an we haven’t heard about it.. they asked to clean the door step where we keep our legs and they don’t want any sand particles. The only place we dint clean is tyres. WORST SERVICE EVER WITH U-HAUL AT THE HOMESTEAD. Instead just just a mile extra a take from elcamino real.

Ron MVery expensive and dishonest service, no human interaction from. I rented a van on Saturday at Postal Annex office 1553 in Santa Clara and due the traffic wasn't able to return it at 4.30pm. I called the employee and explain that I am about half an hour late and I can leave the van next to the office where the another vans are located. He ask me to bring the van Monday morning because Sunday his day off and then charged me as much as possible for his weekend referring to following instructions.I highly don't recommend this office and this service!

I particularly appreciated the license photo area as taking a picture of my ID is not always easy. It was well lit and clean so my ID photos were accepted without any re-takes. Overall excellent experience with this rental.

Mike SHorrible customer service. The front desk guy told me to make sure there's not a spec of dust in a threatening way. And the guy I returned it too threw a fit over the gas gauge not going above full. I didn't drive far and the car didn't really use any gas. I took it to a gas station and it only took half a gallon. And the guy accuses me of ripping them off, charged me 30 which I had to dispute. U-Haul corporate needs to discipline the people running this location. These people are ruining your brand.
Beecher aI swept the vehicle clean before dropping off the vehicle. The owner then told me it needs more sweeping after which me and my wife swept the whole thing twice. Even then he wasn't satisfied as dust accumulated in his vehicle (which should be as he left the doors open, no surprise). He then threatened us saying the next time I bring in such a vehicle, he would charge me a sweeping fee. This is not the first time I have rented a Uhaul vehicle and never had I had such a bad experience

Arvind SShow the name of the shopping center in addition to the address, as the number address of the center is not displayed, however the center name is. Even with cell phone directions I spent time entering two separate adjacent centers before sighting the Postal Access in the center of its merchants row. The parking was great and room to park own vehicle for the work day so didn’t need someone to drop me off or pick me up. You didn’t ask but the service was first-rate with full hands in instruction on how to safely operate the rental van before departure. Best ever !

Steven HWhen I went to pickup the Van I had booked they asked me to take photo from my driver license and opload it, which was an optional step during the onine reservation. My phone camera was not working and I could not upload the photo. It was completely non sense. I was there, I had my driver license on me. But they refused to let me pick up the van without an upload! It was not acceptable at all. Eve if they needed, they had several scanners and copy machines and they could get a copy. And again they refused to do. I had to cancel my reservation and go all the way back home and find a way to upload a photo of my driver license and got back to finally pick up the van. They wasted 2 hour of my time fr nothing! Also after I returned the van they had me sweep the cargo area while it was clean. Because of very tiny dust like particles they had me sweep the cargo so I don't get charge 25$ more. I would discourage EVERYONE from going to this location
Amir BOverall, booking on the website was great, but then I got the call from the shop to say he can't rent for the whole 24 hours and need to bring early. The vehicle has a sensor problem and wasn't get fixed. Then when returning, he made a lot of faces on a professionally cleaned vehicle and charged $25 fee after giving me a broom to clean, which I did. Really a horrible experience. Hope that guy is not allowed to have this dealership

CHUNGKUANG TTeach the proprietor to respect customers more (and especially note that it's mostly women giving 1* ratings and men giving higher ratings.) I should not have needed to put almost 4 gallons of gas into a small cargo van I drove less than 6 miles, especially after all the dire warnings that I needed to return it with the tank completely full.
Aliza PI rented a Uhaul from 9:30 to 3:30PM through the official website. When I got to the location, my time was changed from 9:30 to 9:00AM and shortened to 1:00PM. I asked why my time was changed without any prior notification on the day of my move and I was met with a very combative manager. I said I am sure this is not their fault but there is a misunderstanding and if we can fix this. He said they don't stay open until 3:30PM. I am just shocked that they do not honor what I applied for online and changed it without warning. The equipment was fine, but the management was awful. I would avoid this location like the plague.

DEVESH SThis location did not offer me option to drop off at another location . Since they were closed on Sunday. I had to drop off the vehicle before 4.30 pm on Saturday ( picked up at 9.00am). Very inconvenient , but I had to do due to the urgency of the situation. Other wise great people , liked the postal annex people I dealt with . Would do more business under ideal circumstance .

BRIAN SWorst service I have ever met in my whole life. 1. I returned the truck with full fuel, but the representative was insistent on charging us for not refueling. I have to drive the truck to gas station to add another 0.3 gallons of gasoline. 2. I swept the trunk very clean, (I posted the picture on Google Maps) but they still said it's considered dirty and wanted to charged about $25. What makes the whole thing worse is their horrible service and harsh language. They yelled at me and we almost fought!

Matthew CI would like to report the location for their poor customer service and use of harsh language. The consistent bad reviews at the location should be a red flag. To summarize our experience, we returned the truck with fuel at F as stated in the rental agreement and returned it as clean as we got it but the representative was insistent on charging us for not refueling. Further he pointed to specks of dirt on the floor and said it’s considered dirty and we’d be charged for the same. However when we returned the vehicle the representative left the same truck with its doors open.
PRIYA VBooking was for 1-4PM, but store representative appeared to change it to 12:30 to 4:30 in the last min without any notification. When arrived at 1PM as originally planned, I was still asked to return by 4:30 because they need time to be ready to close store by 5PM. U-haul system should not allow booking till 5PM if the local store reps are not willing to honor it. Customers will be rushed or risk losing time, especially when some time is also needed to refill gas.

THIAGO PExcellent check out and return experience at this Postal Annex. Very friendly and efficient! A few issues: fuel was low and windows were dirty at pick up; 12V accessory socket was taped over so we could not charge phones during the long drive. But, overall, I would definitely use U-Haul at this Postal Annex again.

ALISON CRude and unprofessional staff. I have rented U-haul before in MO. I was never asked or given a broom to go broom the floor of the van. And especially with no clear explanation and just by being irrespectful and redness. I had seen poor reviews about this place but went there anyway because it was closer to me. Will never go to this place again, and maybe U-haul in general.
