To the next customer I would say, find another location. These people shouldn't have a Uhaul business. First they told us that someone had been siphoning gas from the van that morning and they had not even gone out to check and see how much gas was gone. Then told my son he should check under the van to make sure all hoses were intact. Then there was a problem with the back doors which we didn't discover until we left the place. And they said there were some scratches on the back door.. The van was dirty. It had not been washed in a while. When the van was returned the woman said their internet was down and could not give me a receipt. What Uhaul place can do business without internet?? The man that was there told my son he personally owed the van. Is that even the way Uhaul does business? On my receipt, it stated that an accident with the van had been reported . That DID NOT HAPPEN. There was NO ACCDIENT to report. The fact that she couldn't email me a receipt promptly after the return of the van, as every other location did before I even left the place, meant she could write whatever she liked. So in the end, I was hit with a $150.00 charge on top of everything else. More than likely to pay the owners deductible for damage that was there before we rented the van. I went up the chain, but they were of no help. If you're going to rent from Uhaul, use another location, not the Postal Annex in Hesperia. They're unscrupulous. The one on Lorene in Victorville is great.
