James DI considered the truck clean when I picked it up. When I returned it to U-Haul in Greensboro, NC they charged me a 25.00 cleaning fee. I don't understand why? I hauled clothing in the back, so nothing to clean, and I was the only passenger, and simply drove the truck, nothing was in the front, other than me. There were some spots on passenger seat, that I did not do, so I assumed they couldn't be removed, so I didn't attempt to clean the front seat, that I didn't sit on it. I turn on my computer, and see that I was charged a 25.00 cleaning charge!! I have rented U-Haul many, many times. If this is the way they plan to increase their profit, I will find another company going forward. Thank you! David R Tobin

Alexander SI picked up a car hauler and left the location around 415. I requested a 24 hour rental. I asked The guy about returning the equipment. Should I come back early and the staff may on lunch break. Charles told me to just park the trailer when I returned it and he would get it checked in. He asked me what time did I think I would be coming because his staff is in and out of the office. I said most likely between two and three. So despite me clearly saying I want a 24 hour rental, he put me down as returning the equipment by 2 PM. So when I got there at 4:30 PM, And they checked the trailer in at 5:09 he charged me for an additional day insurance and all. He also led me to believe that the insurance was included in the rental, and indeed it is not. That is a separate charge that is actually optional. Very bad business practices. I do not recommend anyone to do business with this location. I certainly will not be back there.

Brian DNo one would answer the phone. Trucks are not upkept and managers don't call back when they tell you they will. Had to wait over 4 hours when truck stalled only 5 min down the road.

Brian MThe truck was absolutely horrible to drive. It shook violently while moving. The steering wheel alignment was completely off causing the turn signal to not work. Driving it a simple 30 minutes down I-40 was a battle. I've heard U-haul has been going to shit, but I had no idea it was to this degree. My rental for 2 days and 130 miles was $300!!! For a truck drive like it had square wheels. The homie at the rental place who collected it, didn't care when I reported the issues. I called customer service, because I want a partial refund. She asked if I had contacted roadside assistance. FUCKING UNREAL, you clowns charge to rent a handtruck, and here I am expected to to call some dude to work on this barely rolling heap of trash painted orange and white. Guess what? I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF MOVING MY FAMILY AND DO NOT HAVE TIME TO ADDRESS A POORLY MAINTAINED TRUCK. Besides, I was blasted with offers multiple times for pointless stuff like packing tape etc., but not once to I remember any prompts regarding roadside assistance. Amber never sent me a reference/case number. It really feels like this company truly does not care. I should have gone with Penske. Every dollar I spent on this rental makes me cringe. I will be calling customer service every day until I receive a partial refund. Please roll that hunk of shite in to a lake.
Caleb KTo improve for the next customer make sure the uhaul is clean in the front and the back. We had a bad experience with getting charged because the uhaul was not cleaned when rented. Then we returned the uhaul we were charged $160.13 for a cleaning fee. Not ok to take my money as a college student and then after I filed a claim I only received $150 back and not the total of $160.13. Do better uhaul, people just out to get over on you for a dollar.

kay mI was highly disappointed in the service of this location. Confirmed a 24/7 reservation only to show up at 8 am and the location is closed until 9. Arrive at 9:15 and they have to record of my reservation and no trucks available. Operator offers me a limited reservation (until 12:00 and a free dolly upgrade). As a result of the delays in picking up the truck we ran behind schedule with the movers and I was not able to meet the movers until after 10:00. We completed the move and I dropped the truck off less than 4 hrs later at 1:15 and the location was closed. I dropped the keys and notified the location via the dashboard When I get the invoice I was charged thirty dollars for two full days of insurance I had opted out of on my original reservation and a fifty dollar cleaning fee This is my first and last time using Uhaul if this is the standard of service their
Jonte WParking onsite for customers would be a great benefit. Right now the customer has to park across the street and sprint across 5 lanes of traffic or risk their car being towed by an overly aggressive tow company.
Dawn CI would like to see a place to park my own vehicle closer to the location. I rent a truck about once/month, local, and need to park my own vehicle while I use the truck. At this location I have to park on the other side of a busy 5-lane street and either walk across the traffic or walk a long distance to the closest traffic light. I like the people at the location - they are always very courteous, friendly and efficient.

cheryl DSign on the door said closed, even though it was during posted office hours. Luckily the app to check the truck in was so slow, someone eventually walked out and I checked the truck in with him.
Michael SWe chose online check-in when I booked this. But they do not have it at this location. So we ended up having to wait in a long line. It took 45 minutes to an hour to get our keys.

CHAD HThe truck wasn’t ready until almost 2 hours after I reserved it. The location I reserved through doesn’t do mobile pick-ups even though that’s what I was able to schedule thru the site. The location didn’t have any employees until ~15 minutes after their posted opening time. The truck worked, was clean, and there was a key drop-off box, that’s about all I can positively say about the experience.
James CThe individual running this location was over 20 minutes late. There were 6 customers waiting when he finally arrived. After finally getting our uhaul we were over 40 minutes late to starting our day.
