I wasn't informed it was a self check out of the truck and had never heard of that before. I could have had it picked up over 2 hours earlier. I waited and waited for someone to show up. Also, online when I figured out kind of what was going on, it told me the code for the lock on the lock box and it didnt work. It was the only lock box I could see (the key return box). On a whim I looked on the truck for a lock box and saw that the lock on the roll up door was the same kind of word lock and the code worked and the key was inside the roll up door. That would have saved me 20 or so minutes alone. You need to give better communication and instructions

They changed my reservation 3 minutes after I booked it. When I got to the location there was no truck there for me. I went to 2 other locations only to be given a 15 foot truck when I reserved a 20 foot. I was told I would be charged a lower rate but that didn't happen. No one cared. I'll NEVER use U-Haul again. I ended up taking 3 more trips with my SUV to get everything moved as I didn't want to pay the additional mileage fees. Do not trust ANYTHING they tell you.
