The 41 Airpack location staff did not help us at all - we had to connect to U-Haul customer serive to check out the truck. The guy incharge was very rude and indicated that all the systems at U-Haul was down and so he cannot help us - it caused us 2-hour delay and when spoken to customer service, the system was not down.

1. It seems not well prepared before my pick up as there are some equipments I don’t need in the cargo and which was almost charged me. 2. The fuel tank was only 1/3 filled before my pickup but asked me to filled it up when return. Only 9 miles travel, charging me $18 of the fuel usage by the staff which was huge different from what the U-Haul app attempted to charge which was only $6.75. 3. The staff was not professional and unfriendly. 4. This was my first experience with U-Haul service but not so good

Bingling XMy experience at this site was disappointing due to the staff’s unprofessional behavior. The representative was rude and did not properly explain anything about the vehicle or the rental process from the start. During drop-off, he repeatedly made me walk back to the vehicle to check the meter reading, fuel level, etc., while addressing me in a disrespectful manner. His rude approach ultimately forced me to raise my voice. This entire experience added unnecessary stress to my move and made the process very unpleasant

SUBRAMONY RI had a minor issue that could have been resolved by speaking to someone for 30 seconds. I called the location where I picked up the truck three times (during normal business hours) and it went straight to voicemail and the message said “This user’s mailbox is full and is not accepting new messages.” Then I called the main U-Haul 800 number (during normal business hours) and after going through the menu options, it only allowed me to leave a message. I emphasized how important it was that someone call me back and I gave my phone number three times. It has been three days and no one has called me back. U-Haul is a company that generates over $4 billion per year in revenue. I am appalled by the fact that you decided to stop offering any type of customer service.
Matthew SThe pick up experience was not good. Although we checked in online, we still had to go to the front desk to pick up the key. An angry, obnoxious, patronizing and loud guy processed our check in one more time and even though there was a whole line of trucks available on the lot, he gave us the oldest, rickety one. Paint coming off, scratched everywhere. The truck had seen better days, for sure. Our drop off experience was much better. It was all online. I returned the key in person, although there was a key Dropbox, and was met by a very nice older gentleman. He was very welcoming and professional. I wish we had him at pick up time too. He’s very friendly and it was a pleasure to do business with him.
Vincent CThe interior lights not working in front also in the back, I am not able to see at night, they are either not working(automatically when door open), or there is a hidden switch some where which I could not find, luckily have my cellphone flash light to be able to see a little bit, it is still bright enough to see clearly. Other than this, is is all good.
DAVID COne of the best customer experiences I’ve ever had! The associate was friendly, helpful, experienced and wanted to make the process as easy and seamless as possible for us. Even though It was a Sunday morning in 20 degree temperatures!! He was wonderful.

RICHARD RI rented a truck for 1 day and they tried to charge me for 3 days
CELEBI EI arrived on time (at 7am), and the application gave an error "The equipment is not assigned". After 10 mins on the call with support, the error was fixed. Then, the keys weren't in the locker. The guy arrived at 7:30, gave me an attitude "why did they allow you to get a reservation at 7??" as if i did something wrong. Give me the key without any apology, and made a few other rude comments. The truck was dirty and old, but did the job. When I returned the truck, it smelled like weed in the office, he took the keys, and didn't give me any papers, told me I'm free to go. I went home , and after 1.5hrs my truck was still showing "Active" in the app. I called 5 times, but he didn't pick up. I went there again, asked to complete the return and give me the receipt. He was upset and said "then you'll have to wait". After 5 mins and a few aggressive comments from him, I got the receipt. All this time, I was respectful and patient, and I still don't know what I did wrong and why I deserved to be treated like this.

Alexander PVery disorganized, and the attendant was rather rude. We waited for almost an hour in the blistering heat to get our truck because nobody knew the code to get into the lockbox to get the key. Absolutely unacceptable!

I just wanted to thank him for assisting us and let him know that we (and the truck) survived the 8-hour drive with no issues and are successfully in our new home. :)

This white representative made mistakes about the fuel level, forgot to check the mileage, and falsely stated the policy. He was also very rude since the beginning of the conversation with customers.

Joe PWhen I picked up my reserved truck at the Princeton Airport location, Manny got me in and out in under 10 minutes. Same when I dropped off the truck in a few hours later. Truck was older (128K miles) but was solid, clean, and rode well. The moving blanket I reserved were already in the truck when I arrived. Overall, I had a very positive experience. Thumbs up!
Kenneth RNo signage other than pick up here and return there. No one answered 3 phone calls to plan the disconnect at the return center. We were on our own. I had to leave work to return the trailer as my wife could not disconnect it from the hitch by herself. The website I had to download was good but there should have been a banner for returning rentals so I would not have needed to call the helpline to find it. The call center phone help was kind, patient, knowledgeable and left me happy.
