Very friendly and helpful. the van was clean and New.
AMR ZVan was completely out of oil, making bad sounds from the engine and felt like the engine might go out when driving over 40 mph. I had to add several quarts of oil at my expense (which helped performance greatly and stopped the engine sound), but I was not offered any compensation nor a discount on the rental.
Steven RWhen I arrived the clerk said I didn't have a reservation. I showed him the email and he said the pickup location was changed. I called U-Haul and the issue was straightened out. I got the van. The rude clerk asked if I knew what would happen if I was late returning it. I said no, tell me and he said no, read it for yourself. I returned the van 15 minutes early much to his surprise.

James MOur van's rear indicator bulb was out when we picked up. The dealer did not have another van so we had to change the indicator light bulbs by ourselves.... and change oil message was keep popping up on the display. It seemed like the van was not inspected and maintained properly.

Elizabeth KExcruciatingly problematic checkout process. If I don’t sign off on the $25 collision waiver you make me wait 10 minutes to be connected to a customer support representative?!? Who then disconnects almost immediately, forcing me to start the entire process over again?!? My issue here isn’t with the location, or even the truck rental itself. It is with Uhaul basically using dark patterns to basically force me to pay for an "optional" additional insurance waiver that MY INSURANCE ALREADY COVERS.

Mohammadsami SI’m glad I picked this location after all, the last reservation I made with another location I had to cancel it cause the guy who called to confirmed the reservation was the rudest person I have ever encounter.
Augusto CThis is a strange location with very little parking—not a good U-Haul site. The van was parked some distance up a busy street, which made it difficult for me to load in my personal effects. When I pulled away, I saw that the van was flashing a warning about low tire pressure in BOTH rear tires. My trip was delayed as I had to not only gas up the van, but also check tire pressure all around and air up the rear tires. Then I had to do this all over again for the return trip. Even then, the warning light continued to flash. When I returned the van, the agent said he was aware of this. SO WHY DIDN’T HE INFORM ME? It was very disconcerting to have to drive and pick up a load thinking that my rear tires were low and losing pressure. Ultimately I was 2+ hours late in returning the van, and the agent charged me DOUBLE the agreed-upon fee. No consideration for the time I spent airing up the tires, let alone the disturbing feeling associated with low tire pressure, which is very dangerous. There is no mention in the contract of being charged a FULL EXTRA DAY if you’re just a bit late. Only when I called U-Haul did I get a partial refund. I think I’m entitled to a complete refund for the extra day. At the most, I should pay $9.27 pro-rated fee for the overtime. And really, I should be compensated for the time and aggravation of having to deal with what might have been a very serious safety issue, about which I was never informed.

EDWARD LThe man who handled passing off the keys was very nice and efficient. I didn't like how the location was in a corner store and had people loitering when I dropped it off at the end of the night. The van had maintenance lights blinking to change engine oil and low tire pressure. The front window was difficult to see through because of the dirt. I hope this is fixed for the next customer. Using the van for a couple of hours to drive around town was just fine, but I wouldn't use this for longer trips/moves.
