The ProLube location was great. However, my drop off was originally meant to go to the sears location. The owner at the Sears location was the most unprofessional business owner I've met in my entire life. When I walked in one of the employees told me to go to the back of Sears where the U-Haul sign was and someone would be "right with me". After 20 minutes the same employee came back to apologized for the wait and said it would just be another minute or two. I told him that was fine. After 35 minutes I went up to the front and nicely asked if I can just leave in it the parking lot and have them call me if there are any problems because I had other obligations to attend to that day. Knowing this is against U-Haul policy, I understood when the employee said they couldn't do that. This is when I made first contact with the owner who was in his office the entire time and he said he would be back there in a minute. So I nicely said okay that's fine I'll just go back to the back and wait. Then, the one hour mark hit, and I'll admit that at this point I was pretty frustrated. Every other time I have ever used a U-Haul trailer it was a 15 minute pick up and about a 5 minute drop off. I was in the back of this sears watching sears customers go in and out with no problems for over an hour and I did understand they needed to make sales, but he shouldn't be operating a U-Haul if he isn't interested in helping his U-Haul customers. So after an hour of waiting I went back to the owner who was still sitting in his office and reminded him of how long my wait has been. I didn't say anything mean or out of place. I just told him that I work in sales too and I have never made a customer wait to get out of the building. The owner absolutely lost it on me. Told me (in a loud and unprofessional manner) to get back to the back and sit there and wait. I said okay. As I was walking away I overheard him say "If you come back to my office again again I'll..." I didn't hear the end of the sentence but I imagine it was threatening based on his tone. Immediately after his employee had to come and apologize to me for his bosses behavior. I found this to be odd considering it should be up to the boss to apologize for the employees behavior not the other way around. It was after this interaction that I got on the phone with the manager at the ProLube location and explained that I've been at Sears for over an hour and they still haven't even tried to help me yet. So the manager at ProLube said that they aren't suppose to take other drop offs but he will make an exception because of how long I waited. So I walked out of Sears drove down the road to ProLube and they had me in and out in 5 minutes. I truly want to thank the guys at ProLube for picking up the slack of the people at Sears.
