Location is incorrect. It is not a Vape shop but counter of gas station next door. There is no office. I would probably wait longer than necessary if I did not ask guy on counter of gas station. After reading predominantly bad reviews for this location, I have paid more attention during process of renting and returning truck. Took a picture of starting and finishing mileage. Pumped gas based on average consumption and saved receipt until received correct and adjusted invoice.
Nadin TWhen we receive the truck it was completely covered with bugs from its previous trip. I had to work quite some time to get the windshield clean enough to start the drive. Beyond this the truck did run well and performed throughout the trip without a problem. Overall a good experience.
Carl EThe guy that rented me the vehicle was difficult and rude. He was not an employee of the establishment but a Uhaul employee.
Margaret DI made the mistake of not taking note of original miles on the truck. We traveled LESS than the allocated miles -- and your company charged us for 25 EXTRA miles -- a charge of $25. I will NEVER use UHAUL again and I will share this negative (but learning!) experience with everyone I can.
Karen MThis location needs to follow the instructions in the videos. And there can’t be just one person who knows all. I did everything with my phone, but afterward, it took over an hour to get the keys to the truck. Terrible experience.
Jason EThe people at this location doesn’t speak English well & took a long time. The 20’ truck had very poor breaks, meet to be checked! Was supposed to get an appliance Dolly in the 15’ truck, didn’t get one.
Katie HI was charged for an upgrade I did not ask for. When I called ,"Terry" told me she could not call her manager to report the issue because it was "close to 5pm." After the weekend I reached back out to Terry, left a message to see if there is an update and have not heard a response. Uhaul has confirmed my repayment request was approved but I am still waiting for the refund and its been over a week and a half that I was charged the wrong amount.
Dominic SI originally handed over my key and paperwork to a cashier in a minimart who simply took them and went on to help the next customer with their Lotto purchase. The vape store location was closed with a sign in the window. No receipt, no check out, no help. Fortunately I remembered the app and was able to “return” the truck on my own after a lengthy process of of taking pictures of everything. Good luck if you don’t have a smart phone and the app.
Stephen BClerk was rude and unhelpful. Would push me aside to help other customers in line before me. I had completed online check in and he still had me talk to someone on the phone to do my confirmation. He then proceeded to walk away from the register for 5min while I waited for him to come back. Unprofessional and poor experience overall.
Arik SWell first of all I asked to pickup in grass valley and for some reason was sent to auburn. Which took 22 miles towards my granted miles. It took too much time. The location didn’t even have a real location it was at a convenient store that made me talk to someone on the phone. The U-Haul had no gas in it which was extremely annoying seeing as how the truck is so large it’s already hard to drive the thing. Honestly the whole experience made me not want to even use U-Haul anymore. Which sucks for u guys because I spend a lot of money on these trucks and often

joseph cThis is a location where there is a market. One person running the store . Had to wait to be helped until all store customers were helped. Then had to go through a whole sequence of talking on his phone to get checked out. Had to wait to get the rented pads. The truck was reasonably clean on the inside, but filthy on the out side. This whole process at this place was a pain. I will never pick up a uhaul vehicle there again. This place should not be a uhaul pickup location, since they are unable to accommodate uhaul customers.
ROBERT MThey made me step out of their liquor selling line after I had been waiting. Using a wave of the had and the word wait. Kept helping their liquor buying customers and the two men at the counter would not help us. The other customers in line commented on their rudeness. We finally left them the keys and paperwork and said there’s your truck.

Diane CThe check in and check out process was not working with the app and the staff at the location had to call someone remotely to activate my contract and rental. This took another 10 minutes out of my hectic day and found it terribly inconvenient. You are either a dealer or not and as I found it when I returned the truck, the app was still not working. The attendant at the liquor store said I had to try the app later and when I tried to give him the mileage he told me they didn't want it. I was unable to check out and now I have to check my bank records to make sure I was charged properly and I find that unprofessional, frustrating, and more waste of my time. Back to Penske I go.
Michael CDid not have a furniture dolly. Could not process my request, had to call the other store to run my information. During that phone call, she charged me for service (the $30 insurance ) I specially declined. Abysmal level of professionalism.
ROBERT FI was charged for an insurance service I did not order. The truck checkin took almost 48 hrs so I had a default charge pending on my card during that time.

Donald DThe original pick up location did not have the truck and told me my reservation was at another location. The second location is the one I am rating. The experience (which was likely U-Haul caproate) of having the pick up locations change messed with my schedule a little bit, which is hard on a move day.

David BGreat drop-off location. Gas Station right there, easy to find and no-hassle drop off.
Terence BI dont know if this is a location problem or Uhaul, but I paid for 2 dozen blankets, and got zero. I also ordered a dolly, and got an appliance dolly, which is not the same thing. The staff at the location had never rented out a uhaul before. The "boss", ended up making a special trip to another uhaul store to to get me some blankets so I wasnt totally screwed, which was really nice, although it cause us a delay in packing.

June BThe girl at the counter had no idea how to take in a truck. A couple that happened to drop theirs off right before me were helpful, but my phone couldn’t log in. So the girl had to call her boss, and I texted her personal phone with pics to send her boss for my fuel mileage. I was to get an $85.00 refund for returning 1/4 or higher, which I did. I do not know if I received that credit.

Christina BWhen someone like me for instance is having a lot of trouble returning the uhaul on time and days keep going by. Instead of putting them in the red. Simply tell them that you will gift them one free day if they hurry up and return it. Then if they don't and the card is declined then tell that person that the pokey is after them for grand theft auto.
Susie MI returned the vehicle less than ten minutes over 24 hours (1:05-1:12) and was still charged for an additional 24hous of rental. This seems pretty petty .
Christina BOnly person there is a convenience store clerk with no knowledge. The truck did not contain requested supplies. Pick up location was changed two times. Cost of truck rental was changed and needs to be corrected. Much higher than posted web site.
Suzan Kfor some reason I was charged for 2 days rental when I only had for 1 day. Plenty of reviews warned me of extra charges from this location. Desperation was why I booked here, wouldn't do it again.
Jeremiah AMy location was changed last minute, i was referred to district phone #, told there was one avail at thus locake, got there, it was there but got another phone number from this strangely acting store person, person on phone coyld not help said computer system down and no truck there yet it was there as i was looking at it, referred me to another person who could not hear well on.phone, lost connection, ky crrw waitung as i was delayed, then charged for truck then charged additional money upon dropping off. What a you-know-what-upped mess!!!! My time my money poorly spent!!!!

Leonardo Rtotally unfriendly when I dropped it off. No paper work to sign that I had returned the truck they told me that it would be checked in by the manager when he came back from lunch. They checked it in a week later and illegally billed my credit card 414$ When I called to ask what the bill was he told me to "Fuck off you stupid dumb bitch, I have your credit card information." He threatened me and I am considering legal action. Discriminatory against women. I had to cancel my credit card but I am still in fear that he has my home information and I am living in fear.
THERESA DI filled the fuel tank past the level required and was still charged for fuel. The service at the pick up and drop off location was poor. I will use another rental company next time.

Benjamin Mi also need to add a comment, i reserved a truck @ DLD today in New Castle. Drove over 100 miles away to know this locarion closed, but it allowed me to make reservation online. Luckily, the location in Auburn opens so i was able to book one this morning. Very bad experience with online booking.
pha sI was happy with the equipment and the pick up, but not the drop off. I had a lady call me and ask if I could drop the truck off at a different location cause they needed it for another person on Sunday. So I dropped it off 100 miles further than I was originally told. I was charged for 50 extra miles even though I was doing Uhaul a favor. I asked if the extra miles could be deducted because I was doing them a favor, but they continued to say I needed to pay the additional charges. I will never do Uhaul a favor again and will not recommend Uhaul to my friends. I am very disappointed in the transaction.
MARCIE WCashier could not speak English very well and could not understand him. My original reservation for pick up was in Weimar Ca. But when I got there, they had no trucks!! Had to drive more miles then expected which cost more money. Very dissatisfied.

Rodney Ni guess uhaul recently patched the roof of truck.i loaded truck the day of pickup.that night a rainstorm passed over truck.when we unloaded the next day in salt lake city several boxes and other items were very wet. uhaul should check for leaks after they try patching the roof
james lTruck rented not there had to go to second location and they were closed ... for two hrs. Got truck one way and went to drop it was closed they said to drop new day still closed. NEED $50 guarantee refund. Horrible experience.
