This location was non-existant. I had to go to the hardware store across the street to find the location. Then was told to just leave the truck and keys in the field next to a storage unit out in a field. I hope the truck was safe and got checked-in.Jeffrey S.

I scheduled to pick up my haul rental in Dodge City KS and was later told I would have to drive over one hour each way to pick up my rental. I was told they didn't keep the truck styles in Dodge City only the pull along uhauls but when I returned to Dodge a couple days later there were truck style uhauls sitting at the uhaul site. You would think that after having to drive two extra hours to get my uhaul they would add two hours to my drop off time, nope. There was trash all over in the cab of the truck when I picked it up and I was also told I had to return the truck full of gas because it was registered as full when I rented it. The needle was barely at the full position on the meter but I didn't want to be charged the outrageous prices if I didn't return it full so I returned it with more gas than when I rented it. The man at the Protection store was kinda rude and told me I was lucky I got there when I did because he was just leaving for lunch and I would of been out of luck! I told the lady on the phone from uhaul that called me and told me I would have to go there to pick it up I couldn't give her an exact time to pick it up and she that was ok as long as I got there before closing time. If I would of driven over an hour to get there and then not been able to pick up the uhaul because he went to lunch I would of been really upset. Also while he was doing the checkout on his computer for me a local lady customer came in and he stopped with me and was more interested in talking with her. The truck was very nice and it drove very well. One thing I would like to see if I need to rent one again is cruise control.Eugenia S.

Order was placed correctly online and proper equipment was ready but Protown messed up the printout and charged more than they should. He argued that the prices change every day depending on demand when I questioned the amount. Also, the car dolly was damaged with a fender being held on by electrical wiring only. Definitely NOT a pleasant experience at all.DONALD D.

This independent dealer was just average. Pleasant enough, but the equipment was not up to par. The truck has bald tires and the trailer had been sitting for some time and was not cleaned of debris.Nancy B.
It was great to have a location in western Kansas close to where I was going to so I didn't have to drive over an hour to drop it off. The sign could have been a little bigger so I knew where the office was.Kelly M.
I was guaranteed 2 dozen blankets and they had none. I had to drive 65 miles to pick up the truck and then call around and find blankets. I then had to drive 3o miles one way to get the blankets I needed the next day. This put me behind schedule and in a bind. Get your inventory correct and not have your customer driving all over the country to get the equipment.Robert G.
