Our pickup location was changed to the Pump N Munch the day before pickup. When we arrived to pick up the truck the clerk claimed that he couldn't complete the pickup transaction on the store's iPad (not sure if it was an iPad problem, software problem, or employee training problem because we couldn't really understand what he was saying). We had to add the U-Haul app to our phone and complete the pickup that way. The app is horrible. It was difficult to progress to the next step after entering information, and it required 3 or 4 phone calls to U-Haul support. The support people were actually helpful on the phone though, so shout-out to them. After way too long trying to fight with the app and multiple phone calls, and a phone call from U-Haul to our emergency contact to vet us (really?, after we pre-reserved the truck and gave our credit card information when making the reservation) we finally got the magic confirmation number to show the store clerk so he would hand over the key to the truck. We had also reserved furniture pads and a dolly, but they were not in the truck when we picked it up at the Pump N Munch, so we had to go to another U-Haul location to pick those items up.

Communication, accountability, transparency and accuracy. I was intentionally overcharged for both mileage and gas. And even the refund amount that was issued was also incorrect. Had I not kept pictures and receipt, I wouldn’t have been able to challenge the bill.

Michael GThis place will charge you even after you have return your uhaul rental an extra 3 days. If I didn’t receive a notification on the charges from my bank I would’ve never caught it. This place I will never again or recommend anyone to rent from. They should loose their contract with uhaul. I’m pretty sure they have gotten away in the past or on people that didn’t pay attention to these charges.

Earaina TI specifically asked to pick up my truck at 7am. The truck was not set up for 24/7 pick up service so my truck was delayed until they were “open” at 9am. I had to push back my movers. When I arrived at 835 so I could be there right at 9 when it “opened”, the gas station was already open so I probably could have picked up my truck when originally intended and avoid a huge headache.
Jacob HOnly one staff peson running the entire gas station and had to go back and forth between all customers and myself to get me checked in. Truck only had 17 miles to empty in the tank when I picked it up. I had thought it needed to be at least at 1/4 of a tank. Very disappointing.
