We originally were suppose to drop off the truck to the Oceanside location. However, after picking up the truck we were contacted by a corporate office To switch our location to the Vista office because the Oceanside office was at capacity. Come to find out the Oceanside office was not at capacity and so it appears we were made to go out of our way for no reason. On top of that, it appears the corporate office didn't even have a conversation with the Oceanside office to ensure that this was the proper move....a little disappointing. Next time I rent a uhaul I will make sure to only communicate with the local offices.Gina C.

literally awful, had 6 people waiting outside of the door because the owner refused to come to the office. our reservation was for 11:30, got there at 11:15, finally left with the uhaul at 12:40. very very incredibly awful.grace C.
Bill them correctly. Have employees there on time who do not change insurance orders on customer check-in, misrepresent cleanliness of equipment on return and overcharge for gas.Keep homeless people sleeping on property from accosting and intimidating customers. Horrendous experience.Dale J.

Waited 90 minutes for someone to show up and help us pick up a truck. Got there at 8 am and it was supposed to be a mobile pick up. Could not because the truck was not check in. The store was supposed to open at 8:30, but no one showed up until 9:15 am and then we had to wait until 9:30 for everything to get checked in and us to leave. And I had to call the guy and wake him up. The truck was old, and the engine made a terrible noise, the steering was so loose that it drove like a clown car. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM U-HAUL AGAIN.Debra K.

Two days in a row opening the store late and having to wait in the parking lot for an associate to arrive. Not very professional.FRED L.
Omar was AMAZING!! I called online and needed a truck the same night. I was told this location was open until 11:45PM. I set up a 24 HR pickup and was given no explanation of what was expected and that I would have to sign in on my phone to check out the truck. I called the location number to validate the type of truck that was reserved. The call went to the owners cell phone. He had already left and closed the office for the day. He was SOOO very patient and explained that his office was already closed and I would have to pick up the truck using my phone. I was disappointed that the office was already closed and I wouldn't have anyone there to support me through the process. Omar drove back to the office and and met me there to help support me through the process!!!! I had a deadline to move my stepmothers belongings (she had just passed away over the Thanksgiving holiday). Needless to say, I was stressed and not familiar with the steps needed to check out a UHaul on my phone. Also, once I arrived, my phone had very little battery left and my internet access was not pulling up the pages to sign in. If Omar had not drove back to the office, I would not have met the deadline to remove my step mothers belongings. I was SUPER impressed with his patience and AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE to take his time to return to the office and support me. WAY TO GO OMAR, your level of customer service is hard to find in this "AUTOMATED" world. Nice to know there are still humans who interact and CARE about their customers. THANK YOU hardly shows how appreciative I was that you went the extra mile.DENISE B.

they automatically charged me for insurance, even though I did not require it, and I used 1 gallon of gas, and they automatically charged me $7.00 for it without letting me know I had to refill the 1 gallon....this is not an authorized U-haul dealer, and I would not use them again Authorized dealers value their customers, and I use them ALL the time...this location is not one I will use again.CAROLDEAN R.

The truck was returned late so I had to wait an hour until the store was open to start the process. It was not the fault of the actual store itself so I do not want them to suffer, but this was not a great experience for me.Paige S.
I did not schedule pic up at this location and was told I had to go here to get my truck. This location was nearly an hour away - compared to the five minute drive to the location I scheduled. I had loaders waiting due to the additional time of driving to the new pick up location and lost an hours worth of time and had to pay them an extra $100... I would like to be compensated for this loss of time, not to mention my time and the gas I spent to get there...CHRISTOPHER W.

I guess when I flea again ill make sure to provide the court documents showing my location should never be shared. Your reptesentative was beyond excellent and made it easy to rent the van. The communication from her when I called first, and customer service when I arrived at her office in person to rent the truck was just exceptional. Everything was very easy due to her help and instructions. I was blown away by her assistance and help with the rental process. Thank you. Put more money and time in to maintenance of your vehicles. Also update website to properly state weather or not a vehicle will be available for pick up. I wanted a van the website said my first pick up site had one. I get a call about an hour later stating that not the case. after i made my reservation. So i have to get a 10' truck. then i get a text about another hour later stating my first pick up site doesn't do after hours pick up, even though your website makes it seem that way. So I have to now change my plans and times to make sure i have can move properly. I hope you are able to fix you system.Johann D.

The vehicle had every light on imaginable. Check engine light was on which means it automatically wastes more gas. Air was low on tires. Had to put air in tires myself to not get a flat. Car smelled like cigarettes so bad I got a headache while driving 10 miles. Business Owner was never at the place of business for any help or assistance. He has a sign on the door to call if you need help. You should do business with business owners that don't even open their shop! I use Uhaul every time I move, never was displeased or had a problem. This rental, however, was a nightmare. I don't feel like I should have been charged but I did use the truck so I didn't ask for a refund. Seriously, pull your conttact drom this person. They are giving Uhaul a really bad image.Carla L.
