Bruce KI was quoted $160 but when I picked up the truck it was $220. It was an online drop off and they tried to charge me for 33 additional miles at $1.50 a mile but I only used 5 additional miles. There was a place to note why you disagreed with the final bill, which I did and didn’t need to pay at the time. The message said someone from U-Haul would be in touch. No one ever reached out and a few weeks later they attempted to charge my card for the full amount.Luckily I lock my card when not using. I took a picture of the odometer before and after but I suggest that you just don’t use them at all.

Michael FThe rachets for the wheel harness were worn out and would not reverse the straps. I had to haul it to a local U-Haul location for assistance in resolving the issue and off-loading my car. Then I had to go to my local residence and take a Uber back to the U-Haul location to pick up my car. This added cost was $20.00 that I did not need to spend because of poor Maintenace and a NY local operator who gave me faulty equipment just to get it out of his inventory.

CLAYTON JWe were given a truck with a problem with the exhaust pipe. It was so loud we could not hear each other talk. The fumes from the exhaust pipe were so intense we were forced to ride with the windows open. We could not turn around and go back to u-haul to try and get a different truck due to the company’s high demand for trucks on Labor Day weekend. But the main reason was due to being on a time schedule that morning and had to arrive at our destination at a precise time.

JJ JPlease be aware, I just received a Receipt that I have rented something in U-Haul. With all my information on it. Needless to say I did NOT rent anything at UHAUL. So, God forbid something happens with this equipment am I going to be responsible for something I haven't even rented? Just because these people at UHAUL were not doing their job correctly and checking their id and verifying it was the same person that was renting. Check your email if you have rented in this place or from any UHAUL company.
