At first I was patient but slowly began to understand that the service we received is not out of the ordinary and very poor. My husband and I went to pickup the truck together. I pre-booked, asked for the equipment I needed weeks in advance and was specific with start and end times. On my way to pickup the truck I got a text that the pickup would be late "due to a family emergency". This is understandable and I was not upset. The text stated that I would be able to pickup the truck at 9:20am instead of 9:00 am. Their stated online hours are 8am-6pm. We arrived at 9:00 because we were already almost at the location and began to wait. At about 9:35am someone pulled into the driveway and opened the door so we could go in. The truck had not been looked at yet, and we did the standard paper work. I was then informed that they did not have the equipment I asked for. Again, dissappinting but what is there to do? They offered is other equipment but it wouldn't fit our needs. We were also informed that we booked the truck until 5pm (which I did) and so we would have to use the Dropbox and app to check the truck back in when we returned it. I clarified "aren't you open until 6pm?". To which they replied that there was a website error and they were working with uhaul to fix it but they Close at 5pm not 6pm. They could put hour exceptions in Google and their site. They could have the trucks marked as unavailable after 5pm. I feel like being made to do an overnight rental when booking a return time an hour before closing is not ideal for most people. I feel as though we could have been informed beforehand so I could inquire at another location. I also asked for boxes but was told they did not have any nor did they have other packing materials. We left with the truck and I went to another location to get boxes and other packing material. While there I met another person who was booking a truck last minute because the location I just left was not open at 8am (which is stated on their website as opening hours). She was asked to wait until 9am. I was told that I was about the 4th person to head to this alternate location from the original. We did our move and returned the truck to the original location 15 minutes before 5pm but no one was there. This must be a regular occurrence because there were 3 different phone numbers listed in the window to "call if we are closed". The first went to voicemail and the second picked up. We stated that we were there to drop off but there is no one there. They directed us to the drop box and the app. The app would not work and so we took photos of the truck and left the keys. We had to return the next morning to get our deposit back and they did not acknowledge the poor customer service. There were two staff there. No one greeted up properly. They were unfriendly and after all of that they charged us for the 40km round trip. For needing to come back the next day to get the deposit (hour round trip) instead of upon return, missing equipment, no packing supplies, and being so late to pickup, no advanced warning about lack of supplies and not seemingly even remotely caring about the way they treat their customer I will never rent from this location again unless they are the only trucks available within the region. I will also be letting others know not to rent from this location. I understand that running a business is not easy and life has its challenges but to be seemingly uninterested in customer service it was a terrible feeling. During this conversation someone else said that they have had problems with this location texting clients saying there was some issue and would not be open.

This was an after hours drop off. It was a parking lot so I am not sure if I can properly assess if it was "clean and inviting"....and I did not deal with any personnel. The survey requires me to pick yes or no - without regard to my points above. So I picked one so I could complete the survey. If you'd like some feedback on how to create a more realistic survey to get better data I can help with that.

The website states "guaranteed" when your products/services are reserved online, but come to find out, they are not guaranteed. I should not have had to go around to multiple different locations to collect what I reserved online because you/your employees were too lazy to do the job, and then refuse to give a discount for the major last minute inconveniences. In this country, this is called "poor/terrible customer service. I will not use this location ever again. And, further more, I will not recommend this location to anyone.
