JAMES Lthis review is for the the U-Haul at 490 SE 1st Ave, Ontario, OR 97914, United States. I am very happy with the help I received at this location, over and above all reasonable expectations. I needed a truck and car dolly of which neither was at this location and I couldn't drive much farther. I'm sure the other 2 locations where the units I required were at also were helpful, but 490 SE 1st Ave, Ontario, was awesome.

Mark SWhile asking the David on the phone why I was charged an extra 50 dollars for a cleaning fee he proceeded to tell me that there was dog hair which I dont have a dog, I did not get dog hair in the truck. I explained this to him and he said well if you would have turned it in at 8 am before it was 95 degrees outside I probably wouldnt have charged you extra and I said what do you mean and he said well I was sweating and a drop of sweat rand down my face and I said so you are charging me 50 dollars for you doing your job and the weather outside? (I can not control the weather and I turned my Uhaul in during business hours before my contract was up) and he then proceeded to hang up the phone on me. Still dont know why I was charged an extra 50 dollars for turning a truck in exactly how I got it. I have called both places and havent heard anything back. Oh and when David reached out to me about returning the Uhaul his last part of his message was saying that most people dont have a problem with the directions but they will charge a hefty fee if not followed correctly. So in my eyes this dude was just trying to make money off of me dropping my truck off which is riduculous and makes uhaul look like shit.

Raul MI got my truck from treasure valley windshield. The store was closed when I showed up so the guy from reload drove over to help me. He was great. Treasure valley windshield was horrible.

Nathan HThe trailer floor had at least a gallon of dirt and gravel spread around that I had to sweep out before loading. The packing blankets were not folded - just heaped in the trailer on top of the dirt (maybe so I wouldn't notice the dirt at pickup?). I hooked up the trailer while they watched (other places have always hooked up the trailer for me). The trailer was in the worst condition of any I've ever rented: it was pretty banged up, didn't follow well, and the door was difficult to latch. It probably should have significant repairs or be removed from inventory.
Peter OYour distributor was fantastic to work with. He was extremely patient and helpful in getting us three trucks at one location so we did not have to travel around the valley picking up trucks. He handled all of the paperwork for all three trucks for us. A great example of customer service and never made us feel like we were troublesome.

corbin sI cannot knock RELOAD as they were closed during my entire reservation, but the online system to get the truck was a huge hassle! It took close to 45 minutes and a couple of tries to get the verification process completed. Also got charged for pads even though I didn't use them AND noted that in the return questionnaire. I will never use the online system again, but make sure I go into an actual office. Unfortunately, there is no other rental options in my community, so I may have to use U-haul again some time.

James WThe attendant was very rude. She was annoyed that we returned the equipment 1day earlier than she was expecting and was bitchy when we requested assistance unhooking the trailer. It was a 150+ lb deadlift and was hooked up using equipment. She didn’t have the same equipment. Not our fault.
Brenda PAbsolutely horrible was sent out with a filthy unsafe vehicle according to you guys they replaced a front tire you couldn’t keep it on the road and you couldn’t see out of the windows because of the dog slobbers all over the street inside the outside was coated in bugs. Tried to get the owner to come out and look at the damage to the vehicle he would not. I had this trip reserved for two months coming out of Alaska on a short time schedule. No apology or no hey we’re sorry we’ll credit some of your costs back come on It’s well documented that all this happened Craig Porter
