I got SCREWED at the Malone Garage where I was SUPPOSED to pick up my truck. When I got there I found they forgot to leave me a key , so I had to turn around and drive across town & go to Racemaster where I was greeted with a gruff "i had to leave my breakfast table to come here". He was not happy and he let me know it. The vehicle smells like Cat urine and has an exhaust leak at the muffler connection.

ANDREW JThere was nothing bad about this location. Only U-haul's perception of time. A day rate (which consists of 24 hours) on the website doesn't exist on their contracts. 6 hours is ONE DAY. So if you rent for 8 hours, you're charges for TWO DAYS.

NICHOLAS PI had requested a 20 foot truck, but they did not have one, so I had to have a 26 foot one instead. They did their best to accommodate me in the situation.

Tanner LHoliday weekend and when I called to verify he had the vehicle I needed available I found out that he was trying to leave early. He agreed to stay open until I got there. I would have been up the creek without his help.

Raymond MDo away with your "on-line" registration system. If it were not for Racemaster's, Jim Paternoster, I would not have been able to rent a truck and my day would have been ruined. Face to face rental. You need to bring back a REAL customer service.
Sheryl CUHaul should communicate more clearly that the daily rate for rental is EXACTLY 24 hours per day based on pickup time and drop off time, with NO grace period. I cut my overall rental trip by 0NE day, but was charged the extra day because I dropped the rental trailer off (at the SAME pickup location) @ 2 hours late (compared to the pickup time). I ended paying for a full rental day because I missed the dropp off deadline by 2 hours. I will reconsider any UHaul rental for future needs!!

Diane SSUGGESTED IMPROVEMENTS: USE THE K.I.S.S. PRINCIPLE. DO NOT SUBJECT THE USER TO FIVE PAGES OF UPSELLING. DO NOT MAKE THE "CONTINUE WITH YOUR ORDER BUTTON A SMALL HYPERLINK BENEATH THE LARGER BUTTON TO BUY MORE. KEEP UPDATING THE APP UNTIL IT WORKS. TRAIN EMPLOYEES TO NOT LIE TO CUSTOMERS ABOUT BECOMING FRUSTRATED. EMPOWER EMPLOYEES TO ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO HELP OR COMPENSATE CUSTOMERS WHO ARE EXPERIENCING DIFFICULTIES WITH THE CLUNKY SOPS OF UHAUL SO THAT A POOR EXPERIENCE CAN BE MITIGATED. UHAUL'S TECHNOLOGY HAD ISSUES ON BOTH THE PICKUP AND RETURN. 1-2 HOURS OF MY TIME WAS WASTED. ONE EMPLOYEE CALLED MY WIFE AND EXPRESSED FRUSTRATION AND RUDENESS (THIS WAS THREE PEOPLE UP THE MANAGEMENT CHAIN. WHEN YOU ARE RUNNING A BUSINESS, PROVIDING FOR OTHERS, AND ON A TIMELINE, A $50 REBATE CHECK DOESN'T COVER OR COMPENSATE FOR THE PERSONAL TIME LOST, THE EXTRA TIME LABORERS ARE ON THE CLOCK, THE INCONVIENENCE TO CUSTOMERS, AND THE TARNISHING OF THE REPUTATION OF OUR BUSINESS DUE TO UHAUL'S OVERCOMPLICATED TECH WHICH IS KNOWN TO HAVE BUGS. USING A BROKEN APP AND TALKING TO 3 DIFFERENT PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE NEEDED TO ACQUIRE A 3 DIGIT CODE TO UNLOCK A LOCK BOX TO GET THE KEY FOR THE TRUCK AFTER HOURS. I AM DISSAPPOINTED. UHAUL HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL AND I LIKE TO GIVE BUSINESS TO THE LOCAL SITES, BUT AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE (AND THE ONE BEFORE), I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO RENTING FROM PENSKI AND BUDGET.
