The experienced sucked and as a long time customer I will not rent from U haul again. When I arrived the website and app did not recognize my reservation to check out the van. Then I had to call and found out the location hadn’t verified the reservation. After that having never used the app I had to take pictures of all sides of the truck, my self, and drivers license and then wait for verification for a reference I provided. At this point I should have been a U haul employee. I returned the truck after four miles realizing I no longer had time to finish my project after loosing an hour of rental time. I then called customer service for a refund or credit to get the truck again for the full time I rented. What do they do? They were to either email me or call me to discuss instead I get a refund from Manu Ragheb, Area Field Manager for $30 out of the $70 plus spent. You’ve lost a long time customer. Never again for wasting my time and money. I’ve rented a Ferrari with less hassle.

The whole process was very confusing, time consuming and daunting. Staff on the app, phone and at the bodyshop location were all great. The procedure needs to be improved and made clear on booking. It was not clear at all and it was extremely frustrating. The van was great, new, roomy, but had what looked like barf on the rolled up mat on the passenger side. I hope next time I use UHaul there will be a better and more user friendly procedure in place.

Nyil kThis was a horrible experience. Had to go through the U Haul app because it was NOT a full U Haul facility. It was an old car repair shop with two dirty UHaul trucks in the back lot. It took over an hour with 3 calls to customer service reps to get through the process of checking in and getting a key released from the lockbox. This was a terrible experience. This is a TERRIBLE pickup point. U Haul should be embarrassed by this point of contact. Makes U Haul look very cheap.
STEVEN BThe U-Haul I rented wasn’t locked when I went to open it. Super dirty, smelled, no one there to help you and the app is very slow so factor in 15-30 mins to pickup vehicle at this location.
Abigail BIt took THIRTY minutes to check in, and i had to call Customer service twice. They said the payment system was down and to keep waiting. I was on a strict schedule with moving. It’s just so much easier having a real life person checking you in rather than having to do everything when you’re there and take photos.

I think in person with friendly customer service makes for a better business model. I would say that the convenience of such a close location to my home was a positive. The guys at the garage were friendly and nice.
Shirley BWhen I arrived to pick up the truck it was filled with boxes and posters. Someone from the business came out as we were unloading the boxes( so we could fill the truck) and threatened to shoot us and began throwing the boxes at my staff. When we spoke to the business owner he was not much help and defended his staff. I spoke with two representatives and supervisors from Uhaul who were no help at all and said they could rent us a truck at a different location. I do not understand how such a reputable company subcontracts to unprofessional people and then refuses to compensate/ rectify such a situation.
