MIGUEL VWe had a smooth first day with our truck, but on the second day that we paid to extend to we had multiple issues that included having to purchase and add antifreeze & having gear issues. The gear issuses cause the truck to not shift up so you could not drive close to/anything over thirty mph without the rpms ranging from three to four thousand. At the occurance of this gear issue was during our time nearing the return of the vehicle so I did call the customer support number and spoke with a nice lady who assured me I could still get the vehicle dropped off and due to a thirty minute grace period wouldn't be penaltilized for it being late. She also provided me with a number to call if I was going to miss the grace period to turn the truck in with because the app would attempt the penalty charge. Finally, she assured me she was leaving a note for like a reimbursement or something relating, and said that it was being sent on her behalf based on what she learned of my experince. I still have not heard anything regarding the note she sent on her behalf, or anything regarding what I left in the app about the truck. Overall I would not say I am extremely mad at the situation because I understand things happen, but I am no where near impressed with the difficulty I faced trying to avoid potential late charges and the overall condition that I, someone who does not know much about engines etc.., had to drive on and the maintenance I had to perform.

Vicki KThe U-Haul trailer left brake light went out halfway through the trip. One of the top running lights was off. The trailer is not user friendly to hook up to a truck.it is way to heavy and no one was willing to help hook it up and I had to ask to get them to unhook it.?

John EI came into this store on a Monday afternoon to rent a trailer for the weekend, and the lady/owner who assisted me was super helpful, very friendly, and communicated the rental process to me very well. She put my order into U-Haul Traffic, and the very next day I received confirmation that I'd definitely receive a trailer for the weekend. A few days later, when I showed up to get the trailer, I didn't have exactly what I needed to make a proper connection with the U-Haul's trailer hitch to my vehicle's receiver. But, the owner went out of her way to let me borrow a few vital parts and tools so that I could make the hitch work, which saved me from having to go all over town to find what I needed. In the past, I've tried reserving U-Hauls on my own, which was always a pain, and rarely was I able to actually get a trailer. However, the owner of this U-Haul rental store truly cares about helping people, and she made the whole process as seamless as possible for me, which helped me get all of my stuff moved in a single day.
Cadet BTruck sure conditioning didn’t work, headlight didn’t work and truck ran extremely hot. Drove over 200 miles in n extreme uncomfortable situation! Had to have roadside assistance come out. He fixed light but not air conditioning. Horrible experience.

Robert MThe fuel was less than half of the tank, although the rep indicated it was half. There was no walk-around inspection with a U-Haul representative—the app did not work, and a link was not sent until we departed the location. We took pictures of the damage on our cell phones. The truck was not maintained, with the steering out of alignment, the radio only functioning in spurts, and the power port often turning off with bumps in the road, causing the GPS to power down. Uhaul could provide better-maintained equipment and customer service support.
Olivia RI picked up a 6x12 trailer and had to pick up by myself the trailers tongue is laying flat on the ground and I strained my back now I need to go the chiropractor and hopefully everything is good, u haul needs to do a better job of getting a stand on these trailers so you don’t have to pick it up from the ground as this is very dangerous for one person to do.

Connie SBad attitude from the manager some person was smoking weed in the parking lot the manager acted like I was going to steel what she called her Truck and was threatened that she would come and hunt me down if I didn't return her again so called truck uhaul should really do some investigating at this location don't go to this uhaul I've been a loyal customer for years but I think I'll just rent from budget or somewhere else from now on
John FThe lady was rude and tried to charge a late fee when she was late to work, we had to call to get our late fee returned. We dropped truck off an hour before return time as well and she still charge the late fee. Very rude and she could see in cameras exactly what time the truck was returned! Not our fault she was late to work! This drop off point was Big Spring, Tx location!
Connie FAlthough the office was closed when I arrived, an worker was still on the lot. He helped get the trailer discoed and stored in the correct spot. When I called the office later to confirm the drop-off, the manager was already aware that the trailer was on the lot and all was good.
