Dispatch office changed reservation unannounced due to failure to have proper equipment on hand. Reserved a 15' truck for Oct 22 to Oct 29th, Dispatch office placed return for Oct 27th. Company expects *me* to pay for two days because dispatch office screw up. *NOT HAPPENING, EVER* I do not pay for other peoples screw ups. Eat the $120 and move on. WILL NEVER, EVER, USE U-HAUL AGAIN, NOR WILL EVER RECCOMEND COMPANY TO ANYONE EVER AGAIN.RAYMOND E.

This was not the best experience I've had with u-haul. I needed a 10' truck with a car carrier, but none were available anywhere near me. I saw that both trucks and carriers were available at different locations, so I called Uhaul and spoke with the traffic director who was very helpful. He got me the package rate (the car carrier add-on was only $59 in Missouri). I was able to puckup the truck and the trailer at the same location. when I picked them up, they did not want to charge me the discounted rate. After a couple of phone calls, they charged what I was quoted. when I booked the truck and trailer, I accepted the offer for one free month of storage, however, the storage facility was about 40 miles from the truck dropoff--so I got them to change the dropoff to Baldwin, MO. I was given the dropoff address. I got delayed and called uhaul to ask for a few extra hours, which they said would be no problem. As I was driving, I got a call from another uhaul location telling me I needed to drop it off there by 6pm instead because they needed it for a reservation. I asked her to text or email the reservation to me--but she mever did. when it came time to drop it off, I called uhaul and got the correct location. when I got there the guy told me the had several car carriers and didn't need it for a reservation.Kenneth C.

My reservation was 8:00am. There was no key for me in the lock box. I had to wait until they opened at 9:00 to get the truck.Dane Y.
Charged me double the price for 1 day. Just left truck and then was charged 25 for cleaning when it was cleaning but the truck was swept out. Their word against mine and they made 25. Unreal to spend over $100 to move 5 miles. Not using this place ever again.KAREN B.

The gentleman who did my rental was excellent. So glad I was sent there, even though I requested to have a pick up closer to my loading location, In Carthage. He was courteous and helpful. Originally reserved the truck at 9 am at a different location. However, when I went to pick the truck up the facility had changed my reservation to hand delivery by noon. This obviously didn't work. So I quickly went in and reserved the truck here so I could somewhat stay in my time frame. The guy worked hard to help, but also made some errors. The mileage on the truck had been misentered and was under more than 40 thousand miles. The truck also had transmission issues and literally felt like it was going to burst out of the front of it when you drove above 60. Already being late due to earlier issue, and not having another truck in the size I needed, I was unable to ask for another. Overall he worked to correct the experience after the first facility. Still sucked overall due to truck issues and the fact I had to pay more out of pocket to get the truck in the first place. Had to wait on customer service for nearly two hours to speak go a representative just to try and rectify the situation.Rita J.

Guy was just rude, told him about the incorrect issues and the lady said they (drop off site) would fix it. He said she fucking lied, nothing he could do about it. Was rude about parking it on the street vs the lot where I did. Not a enjoyable experience with UHaul.Chris T.

I was told to return the trailer to the location I got it from. So I was surprised when another location called and said I didn't return it on time. The lady at the opposite location ended up figuring it all out but I was still charged with a late fee, even though I returned it on time & to the original location I got the trailer from.. waited till next day to not have to check in my self OR get charged $20 and I get there during hours it SHOULD be open there is a sign on the door says they will return at 4pm, had to ask stranger to assist me in getting tow dolly off and had to self check in WHICH I waited to avoid. I would appreciate $20 refund also noted another customer waiting to pick up by no one there at the appointed time. Sad to have uhaul associated with this companyKaren B.

Arrived at the location assigned for my pick up, which was StowAway storage in Joplin, MO. We arrived At 1015 hours and found the location closed. The hours of operation were clearly posted in the window as between 100 hours and 1800 hours. Phone number was also posted of which I called and received a recording. Left a message and waited to no avail. Called UHAUL and was on hold a good 20 to 30 minutes before an employee answered. We were assigned another dealer in Joplin for the pick up and they were professional and helpful. Two weeks before this experience with UHAUL we moved and I had rented a 17 foot truck from Penske. The experience was flawless. My guess is that anyone reading this would very quickly determine where my next rental need will take place.CHARLES F.
