This location was suggested as a drop off while I was in Florida due to its location. I picked up the trailer in Florida on Friday afternoon. I was finished with it by 2:45pm Saturday, cleaned it and returned it to this location. There was no U-Haul representative on scene. The other business on property called the rep and he told them to tell me to just drop it off by the dumpster and I would get an email receipt 2 days later on Monday. No other U-Hauls were in this open muddy puddled gravel lot. I reluctantly dropped it off, photographed it and left. I drove by Sunday and the trailer was gone. Monday came and received no email receipt. When I called I was told I would get one on Tuesday, this was the day the trailer was due back per contract. I called Wednesday and was told I would get one in ten mins. Since Saturday when I dropped it off I started to be concerned. Sunday when the trailer was seemingly missing without me having a receipt I really became worried about it being used, being damaged or simply being stolen. This went on a day past it contractual due date and time. The contact at the location was polite and seemed to be trying to help by assuring me I was fine and would get a receipt. I was on U-Haul Chat for an hour when around 1pm I finally received an email receipt. The drop off / return time reflected the limit of my rental, not the fact of Saturday at 2:30pm. Minor irritation but nonetheless indicates it was still dispatched to me all that time when I had zero control over it. From Saturday thru Wednesday I had no idea if this would end well up to me being criminally charged with the theft of the trailer. Very stressful. Again, the gentlemen at this location was very polite on the phone, he seemed generally frustrated as me with trying to get another U-Haul location to accept the return and send me an email receipt. There is some U-Haul in house process that needs to be adjusted here I guess.

Jamey MI have shared information for both pick up and drop off locations. Now I pray 🙏🏿 I will get my deposit back soon. I was told I would get it back the day I turned in the rental truck. Then they told me I had to wait for the refund of the deposit.

The truck did have a tire low indicator light so i checked the pressure everytime i got in the truck. I figured it was just a bad sensor. I have seen that happen before. Monique SThis is my worse experience I have had in returning your equipment. The first UHAUL place I went to would not accept the trailer. The second place I went to were closed. I had to drive over 40 miles to return the trailer. It took me over 3 hours just to turn the trailer in, due to no location was available in Lake City Florida for me to turn the trailer in. I have a big move coming up and I will be looking at other rental companies to see if they would be able to handle the drop off better than what I had to go through with this drop off. UHAUL needs to come up with a better system for dropping of trailers in the LAKE CITY AREA.

SIDNEY BYou need to add Redds to your list for drop offs, we rented a storage unit so made it easy to leave truck there when unloaded. They were very helpful through all of this. Great staff member.
