They run me the truck with an ABS light and attraction control light.. on which should’ve been an indicator that something was wrong with the truck hundred miles into the trip. The truck catches on fire… leaving me stranded alongside the road for over an hour and a half for a tow truck.. when the tow truck driver showed up and we went to take my van down off the car transport. We realized that the car was never properly secured to the transport correctly, and probably would’ve eventually fell off the back of the trailer and the more than 1200 mile drive. .. they put me up at a hotel but it was 24 hours later from when the fire started to when I got back on the road after they hired movers to transfer everything from one truck to another and right before the fire I had just put $120 in gas in it oh and the fire was right next to the gas tank no less… I would think that there would be a substantial refund for the trauma and inconvenience of this trip

Not sure where all the bad reviews come from. Yes there are some potholes in the lot, but otherwise there is nothing wrong with this place. The lady at the shop that checked me in was professional and explained everything to me. The gentlement in the yard was friendly and helped attached the trailer. This is a great UHaul; I will definitely use it again if I need a UHaul in this area.

I was overcharged for my u-haul that I had for 2 hours max! The gas was given to me almost on E. I traveled maybe 11miles total, had insurance coverage, and a dolly and I was charged 97.11 for 2 hours! I reached out to the place and they have not contacted me as of today to resolve the issue.

There are giant potholes all over the yard. It makes it hard to get the U-Haul and personal vehicles out and in.

Truck was filthy. Oil light kept going off and on. I could not refuel the truck because the gas cap was stuck on. Not the experience i expected.

The conditions of both the lot, trucks, and establishment was appalling. The lot was muddy, and I got stuck in the mud attempting to leave. The interior of the truck was covered in mud on the floor. I did not feel that it was safe to leave my car there overnight. I was beyond disappointed to experience this in the Heights.

I have rented from this location multiple times. I have always had a great experience with them. They make it very quick and simple to get in and out. Highly reccomend.

U-Haul was dirty inside the cab and windshield wipers need to be replaced, as they barely worked or clear the rain when we were driving home in a rain storm.

We asked about the vehicle and they said it was fine. We knew in our gut that we shouldn’t have driven off with it because of how much it was smoking. They had no care in the world and do not maintain their vehicles. Super disappointed!!! We had to transfer all of our stuff into a new vehicle delaying a whole day and tons of added stress.

These guys are crooks and they overcharged me on mileage and gas. I made sure to fill up more than what was there before and they still overcharged me. Over on mileage. Be very weary of using them.

Put a UHAUL Sign outside the business, It's combined and you don't know that unless you call and ask the GPS leads you to the empty lot across the street.

Clean before renting them out. The one I got had German roaches and food waste. It needed to be fumigated and cleaned before use. The suspension needs to be checked thoroughly.

The customer service was the worst I’ve ever experienced. The location was dirty and sketchy. And I still haven’t received a reply about the extra gas charge. I returned the truck with the same about of gas it had, a 1/4 tank, and have the photo to prove it, but they lied and said I returned it with only 1/8th. This place is a SCAM and needs to be shut down. I use U-Haul all the time and this is the worst experience I’ve ever had. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION.

I was charged $7000 + for the uhaul even before returning it. After it was returned the truck, I got reimbursement AND then charged $328 instead of $288. I am done with uhaul at thsi point.

The inside of the truck was so dirty. Couldn’t use the blankets to protect furniture as they had to be laid out to cover the dirt. The driver’s mirror was tied on and unable to adjust. The side of the back of the has been repair with tape in the outside. You could touch it and it moved. No one walked me to the truck to verify anything so the gas was incorrect and I was billed extra (have submitted support for this separate) or review any details to ensure safety and knowledge. The dirt lot it was parked it was too small so someone else had to do a 30-point turn to get it out without hitting a disabled car. I would not have kept the truck if it weren’t for the fact that I was only driving a couple miles and I couldn’t reschedule my movers. If I had never used U-Haul before, I would not use them again after this experience. Just a reminder to work with actual U-Haul verses a pick up and drop off location.

Not sure how a $39 rental plus $10 dolly plus $15 insurance with a total of 8 miles driven came out to nearly $100 charge

Parts of the cab of the truck were broken and dirty. Staff inside office were not friendly and did not acknowledge us upon approaching counter. Did not have dolly I reserved but tried to sell me one at a highly inflated price. Claimed they removed the dolly rental but price I was quoted online (with 2 dolly rentals) was cheaper than what they charged on site without dolly rentals.

If I were a UHaul Company Representative, I would revoke all UHaul branding from this place. Completely DIY and was substandard. I expected more from UHaul for the prices charged.
