The location was great. Your reservation service stank. You moved my location. When I went to the new location, I found no truck and the business closed. I was just lucky that Rev it Up could accommodate me. This is my second bad experience in as many months. I will only use Uhaul if I have no other choices.Daniel S.

I pulled up outside Rev it in Sparta parked the truck opened the door to Rev it up and a gentleman came out and asked me how it went and I said it went well. The tank is filled with gas an the truck was great. He said Ok. You're good to go. You'll get ab email. I said thanks and left. Couldn't have been easier.Vicki B.

The location is wonderful but it was too expensive. Almost $170 to rent for less then 24 hours and all local driving? I thought it was $19.95 a day. The advertising is very misleading.JOHN B.

I was happy with the location and the truck. However I am very unhappy with my estimated price and my actual charge being MUCH MORE than I was told upon booking through the website. I rented a truck for 3 hours...... my estimate when booking was under $100. My charge ended up being $158. I NEVER would have booked at that price. I was refunded $58 yesterday by someone, but there is a serious breakdown in how your pricing is put together, delivered to the customer and then changed.Heather S.

Quick to respond. Easy to book/rent/check-in. Contactless check in and keys. Easy process. Super clean and well-maintained. Would be better if they were a little bit better about how once you get to the location to check-in, you have to do so online in order to get your code and unlock the keys (could have just been me). Would definitely rent again. Super affordable and like I said, super easy and clean!! and new vans!Yaminah A.

I made the reservation for a truck in Sussex, it was changed to a pickup truck in Sparta. The guy there was very helpful and put me back up to at least a van.DAVID R.

The location was very far away and difficult to find. The truck was new and clean but the mechanic's garage was filthy. The price for the rental was high for the inconvenience it caused me. I'm very disappointed with UHaul. They reflect the feeling that they don't care about the customer at all.John W.

At pick up location, very rude and did not seem to care about uhaul side of his business. Lucky for me a uhaul manager was in the lot and was able to check me in.DANIEL B.
I rented the vehicle for a day and then called the U-Haul call center to extend it for a week. The rep told me it was $340 for a week but said the extension was $429 but couldn't tell me whether that included the damage waiver or how much of a mileage allowance there would be and what the charge, if any, would be for excess mileage. She told me that the computer just gives her a price but doesn't break down any of the details. She said that I would be given the best price when I turned it in but couldn't tell me what I should expect other than quoting the $429 figure. I would have felt more comfortable if I would have been provided with a better estimate of the final cost. In the end, I paid an additional $549 plus the charges from the first day for a total of $727 which does include the taxes but I didn't see the quoted $429 anywhere in the final charges so I didn't really know what to expect regarding the total charges. It would be helpful if the telephone reps could more accurately quote the price and could communicate the details on how it would be calculated.Michael S.

Bottom line: I have very nice things to say about my experience with U-haul but not so nice things to say about the person who rented me the vehicle. Here are the details of my encounter: I used the 800 number to rent the vehicle. On the day of pickup, the gentleman who rented me the vehicle was surprised that I was there; he had no idea that the vehicle had been rented. He stated that he was having issues with the internet, and he seemed annoyed/flustered. He worked through the online issues with U-haul customer support, and then gave me a quote for the total dollar amount of what I would owe at the time of drop-off. When I asked about the breakdown of the total, he didn't give me any details, but he did â€œsnapâ€ that it was just an estimate, and he did not provide any details. Once again, he seemed annoyed/flustered, but this time it was because I had asked him a question. I was very stressed and upset at that point, because I felt like I had just been yelled at for asking a question about my potential charges. After working through this internet and dudes with U-haul customer support, he finally gave me the key to the vehicle and told me where to drop the vehicle off when it was time to return it. Then he walked away not really allowing me to ask any questions about the vehicle, or refueling charges, etc. I was still stressed from my encounter with the gentleman who rented me the vehicle, so I sat in the vehicle for a few minutes trying to get myself calmed down. During that time, the representative from U-haul who helped with the technical support issues called me to say he had heard the last exchange between me and the gentleman who rented me the vehicle. The U-haul person was very kind and concerned about the fact that he heard me say that I was upset/stressed while I was dealing with the gentleman who rented me the vehicle. I immediately began to calm down a bit simply because the U-haul person on the phone was concerned enough to call to check on me; in my mind, it validated that I hadn't imagined the gentleman who rented me the vehicle being â€œcurtâ€ with me and not answering my questions. To sum it up, my experience with U-haul was very positive, but my experience at the pick-up/drop-off location was as not positive at all. In fact it was quite upsetting.Donna M.
