I originally signed up for a 10 foot truck in Franklin NJ. Eventually I was contacted that it was not available there but in Sparta. I expressed concern that I had to go 10 miles to get it and then 10 miles to my house.to eventually load up and take to storage 4 miles from my house. They said due to the change site the mileage would be adjusted. When I got to Sparta I was told that there was no 10 truck but a 15 foot truck but it was $10 more. I asked about mileage adjustment and they said they knew nothing about it. I eventually called UHaul service to express my displeasure and they have taken the info down to consider adjusting all. I hope this happens to keep me as a customer.

Andrew HWe paid extra for a dolly and it was not there. There was also barely any gas so we had to start off with that. Also they wait to verify your references till right then and there so we sat there at 7am for an extra 20 minutes until they actually called both references at 7am and spoke with them. So make sure you give yourself extra time for that. I’m not sure why that’s not done earlier when the reservations are made. We made ours a few days in advance. After all of that then you get your code for the keys etc.

Trisha MVery dissatisfied with the high cost that they finally charge for a service, they do not explain anything, not recommended, I am not missing but they will charge me for the wear of the tires. Also at the time of delivery there was no one to receive, I had to guess how to do it, bad information in the service

Daniel OThe powertrain had a crazy shudder at idle or low speeds. Also the vehicle alignment was way off and the truck would pull and wonder which made the drive exhausting. Then when I dropped the truck off uhaul hit me with a $70-$80 fuel charge because they said I dropped it off with less the a 1/4 trank of fuel. I dropped it off with 3/8 which is where it had to be. I even called the drop off center and they verified the correct fuel level. Seriously it's been a terrible rental through and through. Even the guy that booked my rental over the phone put it the wrong date, but lucky a truck was still available when I showed up.

BRIAN SI will never rent from U haul again. I have rent 100's of times over the years. Very loyal customer. But the idea that I could not rent the truck unless you contact my alternate contact is intrusive, unecessary and a complete waste of my time. Now I have an alternate contact available before I rent?/???? My contact was not available t I missed my appointment. Waste of time. Never will I rent again This had nothing to do with the site. Its your app and customer service. Awful

Carol PThe good: Smoothest, fastest check out and return I have ever experienced. The bad: I was never given the opportunity to decline safe move and got the charge for it. Also, the policy of returning the tank to whatever it was at is ridiculous unless it is full. Who can estimate exactly what is in the tank when it will always change depending on the slope its parked on. I was charged for being off by a perceived 1/16 of a tank!!!! There has to be some tolerence here. According to my eye, I left the tank slightly fuller. Not happy to see both these charges after a checked my email at home. Waiting to see if U-haul will make it right.
Cooper MCab had used water bottles. Inside of truck bed was covered with a thin oily substance. U-hall rep tried to clean with paper towels

becky sThe location was great. Your reservation service stank. You moved my location. When I went to the new location, I found no truck and the business closed. I was just lucky that Rev it Up could accommodate me. This is my second bad experience in as many months. I will only use Uhaul if I have no other choices.

Scott vI pulled up outside Rev it in Sparta parked the truck opened the door to Rev it up and a gentleman came out and asked me how it went and I said it went well. The tank is filled with gas an the truck was great. He said Ok. You’re good to go. You’ll get ab email. I said thanks and left. Couldn’t have been easier.

Lynn DTruck was in excellent condition all around. I was 45 mins late to my reservation couldn’t do it online the mechanic at the shop helped me out in no time.
DAVID BUhaul has to do a better job regarding smoking in vehicles. the truck i rented was bad and caused me respiratory irritation.
robert aRenting the truck through Uhaul application was very bad, when i received the truck and when i return it back,, i have to call the customer service to help me in the process..i recommend if you can work on this app and make it more usefull. It dos'nt respond.

Katherine SThe location is wonderful but it was too expensive. Almost $170 to rent for less then 24 hours and all local driving? I thought it was $19.95 a day. The advertising is very misleading.
