Truck was in very poor cosmetic condition. Windshield was cracked from left to right, cab was filthy, "grandmas attic" had whst looked to be a broken plant or fishbowl contents strewn about. Sideskirts were damaged. This is just a shell gas station in the middle of nowhere manned by one person. While cherry and willing, the gas station clerk was rather unhelpful as she had to tend to customers of the station. Took 45 minutes to get out of there in a safe manner. Pick up very confusing. No one told me about lockbox. Planned on online pickup, got there at 11, instructions then said wait until they open at 1 even though they were open. Had to wait in hold to get a hold of someone at uhaul. When ordering, make it easier to see how many miles are included. Very difficult to find out. Too much time spent trying to upsell additional services. Tell me the details of my order first.Nigel G.
It was a very odd experience from the time I walked through the door. I understand it is a small town and some things may go differently than a big city operation. When I walked in the gas station, I was not greeted and I asked if this was where I pick up the trailer or if someone else is there to help. The clerk was on her cell phone looking at something and finally said she could help me, but she didn't know how to handle online reservations. She called her supervisor to help after I checked myself in online and paid for everything. The clerk allowed my husband to hook up the trailer which was surprising since we had a previous experience where the clerk did the hook up and informed us the customer should not do the hook up and disconnect. The clerk was frustrated because the computer was not working and cell service for the location was spotty. I am glad she was able to call a supervisor and have my reservation confirmed and registered over the phone. She was doing the best she knew how and we were able to drive away with our rental so everything worked out. I was nervous about this interaction because I had originally reserved a trailer in Beaver, Wisconsin and the clerk called to say the trailer was reported stolen so he had to change the location. The whole thing was stressful because I was from out of town trying to move things from my parent's house and I wasn't familiar with the area. Everyone I talked to on the phone was very helpful, patient, and professional. I have years of experience in customer service and greeting the customer sets the tone for the whole experience. Truck was empty when I picked it up. Had to stop to fill up at Rhodes Junction (41.69 Gallons, $83.35). Filled tank before dropping off in Appleton (25.437 Gallons, $46.27) Please reimburse me for the first fill $83.35. The 46.27 is fuel that I used.jerry G.

The truck had the roughest ride i have ever had. 200 miles of driving/ bouncing down the road. This could be related to the newness of the vehicle, or it could be an overall suspension problem. I leave that to you to figure out.PHILLIP W.

When I drop off the trailer the clerk had to call the manger on the phone and I had to give all my info to him on the phone and than drop off the trailer in a field with no one helping me.Thomas G.
The Pick Up Location people were of great help. They went out of their way to try and get me what I needed. I can not say the same for the person, Shane Sargent, who was the scheduler. I would never recommend anyone to work with him. I left multiple messages and did not get any return calls regarding the change on my reservation that he made without verifying with me directly. I made my reservation online on July 30 and got no confirmation so I called on Aug. 9. After the weekend the reservation was still not confirmed and I had to call again. This is not how online reservations should work. If it can't be implemented correctly then it shouldn't be offered.Christine B.
Drop off was good, the girl was very nice. I told her about a leak in the front drivers side of the roof, which wrecked a piece of furniture. She was very apologetic and tried to call a number to see if Uhaul would do anything. However she had poor phone service and kept getting disconnected. So she gave me a number to call and I sat on hold for over 30 mins. Twice And gave up. We are still trying to dry out an end table it has completely started to come apart at the top, and is stuck shut. I reserved a truck 2 months ago to pick up in Crivitz WI. When I call to confirm that the truck would be at my location, I was told by some DUMB FUCK I would need to drive from Green Bay WI to Fish Creek to pick up a truck, then drive to Crooked Lake - a 2 1/2 hour drive one way. Do your People not have access to GOOGLE? I called the local rental center and they found me a truck that was continent and on my way to my destination. WHY THE FUCK COULD YOUR IDIOTS ON THE NATIONAL CALL LINE NOT DO THE SAME,, WHAT THE FUCK? YES, I am not happy.David N.

Asked multiple times if I was to get any paper work, answer was no. 6 hours into our trip get a phone call asking if I planned to pick up the reserved rental! This was the worst pickup I have experienced. Unfortunately I filed a complaint to customer service. I always enjoy using u haul but will avoid this pick up or dop off locationJohn S.
We had the worst experience ever and we have a used Uhaul at least 20 times. The auto transport was not acceptable and it was missing the wiring pigtail which had to be purchased by us. When we spoke to Regional Manager Shane Sergeant he told me my wife was wrong and probably misplaced the wiring. This was not the Customer Service I thought Uhaul was capable of but it was enough to turn me and my family away from using Uhaul for life. Up till this experience I was a fan and bragged to others to use Uhaul do to the great transports and tow Dolly's. I spoke to Shane Sergeant two times and both experiences were not favorable for a repeat customer. He defeated my wife and told me Uhaul did not offer two different auto transports and the one we rented was clearly Heavier and when our vehicle could not be hooked up due to wiring missing he verbally degrates my wife and that is not how a Manager should behave. In the conversation he also yelled at me and said I was late and another customer was going to be disappointed because of us. At the time he said it we had more than 1 hour before contract was up. We were only late because we had to buy a wiring harness for the auto transport which was not provided. I loved Uhaul up till this transaction and the unprofessional attitude of Shane Sergeant has turned me away from Uhaul for life and it will also stop me from referring it to anyone I know. I work Customer Service for Hewlitt Packard and I would be terminated for a transaction such as this one. Suggesting my Wife lost or misplaced the wiring is defeating to all women and could only be a sexist referral which is unacceptable anywhere in today workplace. If anyone cares to speak to me please email me at email@example.com and provide a phone number to call. I gave the receipt for the wiring extension and the new wiring to the Uhaul clerk upon returning the Auto transport. We regret this happening and are more shocked than anything because of the poor Customer Service skills of Shane Sergeant Regional Service Manager. Please use this experience as a tool to make other Customers treatment better than what we experienced. Thank you for all other transactions as they were top notch and we regret that the experience will be are last with Uhaul.Cira H.

Owner was not on site to help hook up trailer. Called me on phone after I arrived. I asked him to come to the site to help me and to jointly inspect truck before leaving. I questioned why it would take 30 minutes for him to arrive and he said he had four kids. I told him I was not concerned about his kids and he said he did not want to do business with me. His location is a "bait and booze" shop. The person at the store could not give me directions to the location from the town that is 3 miles away. Rude agent, inept people, truck not ready, and owner not on site. U-haul corporate had to handle the reservation, which they did well and discounted the truck for my trouble. Truck was filthy and appears to not have been maintained by this agent. This agent is an embarrassment to U-haul.Tom K.

this is not about this site but when I called to reserve the truck and told them this was to be for two days, Monday and Tuesday I was quoted a price only to find out that when I returned the truck I was charged for a second day. it would have been nice to know about the second day because I could have returned the truck Monday evening. also I think I should have been given some compensation for returning the truck with a lot more fuel than what I received it. other than that the experience was fineMelvin D.

You were excellent but the U-Haul Network itself was poor they tried to get me a trailer that was 50 miles away I started getting on the phone and calling every individual place that I could I wanted suring Wisconsin to start with but they told me there was no trailer so I called you up and I was able to get my U-Haul truck I appreciate it and I thank you very much for your consideration and helping me as an individual thank youbeth S.
