Had Uhaul ordered online. Get there and the lady calls Uhaul saying that truck is supposed to stay local. Uhaul said no it's not send it. Then rear driver side tire sensor was not working. Was told basically to take it or leave it. I needed the Uhaul so I took it as is. Took pictures before hand with mileage before leaving. Truck outside needed washed. What can you do when moving. Truck was needed.

I made a reservation and my truck was not available at the pick up location. I had to change the pick up location last minute and my moving schedule was delayed. I was very upset!

I wish I could remember the woman's name, she was a delight. So helpful and friendly. Everything was ready for us. The truck was clean and ready to go when we arrived to pick it up. She explained everything so well. We would definitely do business here again and refer this location to anyone.

Rhodes storage in Cleveland gets a 5 Star ⭐️ all the way! The staff was kind, courteous and very helpful. Their location is extremely clean and organized. The low score is not for the Storage Center but to UHaul ONLY! U-Haul needs to either work on making the their self-check out and in process with app more efficient or just get rid of it completely. It was by far the worst pickup experience I’ve had with U-Haul. The storage center did what they were supposed to do and even went above and beyond to get us what we needed. Since they were closed, we had to do a self check in. It took 3 calls to 1-800-GoUhaul and over an hour of waiting to get this truck checked out. This put our moving schedule behind, with movers waiting in the driveway of our home. Again the storage unit staff were great, U-Haul systems for checkin via app, horrible.

The lady running the store was very friendly and helpful. We were not familiar with the area and she mentioned several restaurants in the area as well as direction back to where we were headed. She was like talking to someone you've known a long time!

Was told they were not expecting me - I was not on their schedule for drop off. (I did drop it off after hours - 9:50 AM). The key drop off box was basically hanging open and looked like it was falling off the corner of the building.

I really don’t know what to say. I booked over a week ahead. I was told upon arriving (after waiting at least 20 minutes on a customer before me that didn’t even know the address where he was moving to) that the truck I was supposed to have was still in possession by someone who was supposed to turn it in 4 hrs beforehand. I was eventually told that I could go down the road and pick up a different one but that I could not drop it off where I booked over a week ago to drop it off. Upon arriving at the new location, the website kept logging me out and having me put it a number/password each time. I finally had to have my friend do it because I’m not tech savvy- though apparently I have to be in order to rent a uhaul…. It took me and one friend less time to load all of my stuff than to get the truck. Getting the truck was by far the most difficult part of the day, not the labor…. And that is sad

My experience with using U-Haul on tasso road was excellent I had a little damage on the truck when I had to return it the lady was very cordial about it worked with me to help get everything squared away and I'm very appreciative for her help her name was Samantha and I would definitely recommend U-Hauls to any other person looking for a truck in this vicinity

Make sure the u-haul are parked in a way a trailer can’t block them in!

The return self check in process is difficult and exhausting. Surely there is a better way. I would suggest letting customers know at the time of renting the truck what is expected at checkin. Multiple photos are required, and you aren’t aware of that until you begin the process. We turned the truck off and locked it 3 times not realizing we needed photos of the odometer, reading on the fuel gauge, inside of truck etc. my time is as valuable as yours.

Well I started it after loading the truck and it wouldn’t shift to any gear( it wouldn’t move) and it had the engine light on. I turn it off and turned it on twice and then it would move. It was a little nerve wrecking. It was stressful in more ways than one...Sluggish truck. Also the dolly wasn’t secured in the truck when I got it so it scared me when I took off and I heard a bang! Like I said, just stressful...

communication was not clear. The place I rented it from was not open followed direction as explained and could not get into the truck. When I called for help they told me I wasn't in the system. Four hours later I finally got some help. I had to pay two guys for that time. I don't believe I should have paid for the truck with all trouble I had to go through. They told me they were having trouble with communication and the system, this was not my fault.

We LOVE Samantha and the crew down at Rhodes. I couldn’t say enough about how well maintained their facilities are and how GREAT the customer service is! I’m a frequent customer here and will continue!
