The people were wonderful. The vehicles are very poorly maintained. As someone that works in service, I know what vehicles should drive like... and these things are death traps. Never seen a vehicle drive straight while holding the wheel 90 degrees to the left. But if that's the new thing, nobody gave me the memo... I booked a reservation 3 weeks in advance at a specific location and they call 2 days prior with a â€œthere's only one left in the city. And it's 30 mins out of your wayâ€ I would be fired at my job for that. Again the phone lady was very kind. I know these surveys are on the people and that was fine. The places were fine. If I had another option I would not have used uhaul. I was given a warning beforehand and should have stuck with using anywhere else.Devon D.

was originally supposed to drop it off in flin flon where i was going to but the drop off location is not open weekends. like really? and it was gated shut so you want me to leave it literally on the highway? so i found the next closest location in cranberry portage, 50km away. so there is an extra 100km of driving. A customer should pick up a truck with a full gas tank and drop it off with the same. Trying to gage a partial tank full is difficult and, I would estimate, is invariably in favor of UHaul.Jan J.
Cranberry Portage location was lacking; I had to wait 45 minutes for someone to open the location and accept my drop off. There was another man there also dropping off. We both had called the phone number provided on the paper, but no answer. I was there on time. The man who helped us was nice, and stated another guy was supposed to be there to open.EDDY H.
When I got to this location the rental I requested was not on site nor available, was sent to Flin Flon as they had the correct item. Got to Flin Flon prior to the time indicated that I needed to be there by and it was closed. Called Cranberry Portage location and the solution provided was to pick it up in the morning. Was heading to Lethbridge to get the load I needed it for. Contacted 1-800 number and was on the phone for 90 minutes, finally confirmed that I could pick up a trailer in Veteran, Alberta which was somewhat out of the way to which my drive was to be, however needed the trailer and it was the closest available to Lethbridge. Overall experience with U-haul these locations and head office was bad. The Veteran, Alberta location staff were extremely pleasant and helpful!!David D.

When we picked up, truck was a mess, less then 1/4 tank of gas, cigarette butts in the back and in the cab, not cleaned up, and with my â€œupgradeâ€ uhaul had giving my truck away, so they had to give me a bigger one. Which I didn't need a 26 foot truck, now I had to pay for extra gas to go pick it up and extra gas to drive it around and extra gas costs lots. So instead of a clean, cost efficient truck. I got a dirty, empty and gas sucking truck to move one bedroom... I had 26â€ to move one bedroom....Ryan B.

This is a new location..google maps needs to be updated with new address and the U-haul sticker needs to be removed from the window of the old address. This is a very important location since it serves The Pas, Flin flon and Snow Lake.All B.

Have trucks in Thompson MB. Because of having no trucks I have to drive 325 km to pick up the truck and drove other 325 km back to Thompson. I have to add that Peter from crash pits in Thompson help me very much and finding the truck and getting everything ready for me. Other than that the truck was good and everything went well. But I think they should giving me a discount to have to travel 650 km and one day to get the truck.FRANSISCO S.

Better drop off information. First, when I booked the rental, I had been advised that the location in Cranberry Portage had been closed. I found out after much telephone conversations that the location had just moved to a different part of town. The location I was told, by uhaul, to drop the truck off was actually the wrong location. When I arrived at the location I was told to go, I was redirected to a location that was 4 blocks away. It was'nt a big inconvenience as I had to get gas anyway but never the less, poor direction. More specifics would have been nice!SCOT R.

Impossible de laisser le camion en sÃ©curitÃ© (que les couvertures et le diable ne soient pas volÃ©s de la boÃ®te arriÃ¨re, non verrouillable). Impossible d'effectuer l'inspection visuelle et de prendre note du kilomÃ©trage effectuÃ© avec un prÃ©posÃ© U-Haul. Suite Ã de nombreux appels, ce n'est que le mardi suivant qu'un prÃ©posÃ© U-Haul a confirmÃ© que le camion avait Ã©tÃ© trouvÃ© et ce n'est que le jeudi que j'ai reÃ§u une confirmation Ã©crite que tout Ã©tait en ordre.ROBERT C.

Ce n'est pas l'Ã©tablissement ou j'ai pris mon vÃ©hicule, c'est votre compagnie qui est mal en point au QuÃ©bec, l'endroit ou je devais prendre mon vÃ©hicule a fermÃ© et j'ai du recommencer mes rÃ©servations, car vous n'Ã©tiez mÃªme pas au courant que cet endroit Ã©tait fermÃ© et le comble, j'ai dÃ©couvert cela par hasard en passant devant le commerce et ce que je trouve le plus incroyable, c'est que vous ne m'avez offert aucun dÃ©dommagement monÃ©taire et aucune excuse et que j'ai dÃ» faire 1h30 de route supplÃ©mentaire pour aller chercher le vÃ©hicule, mais heureusement que la personne Ã ce nouvel Ã©tablissement Ã©tait trÃ¨s Ã l'Ã©coute de ces clients.
