Between the location that picked up the trailer or the alleged location that they invented for me to deliver it, they inflated a bill of more than 1000 dollars and I only rented the trailer for 4 days, no more than a month, as they put it. and much less I entered Miami my delivery was in Fort Myers and 4 days after renting itAramis L.

The person who gave us the rental was not a friendly person, even said she hated doing u haul first thing in the morning . When they hooked up the trailer they found it was not in their system and had to hook up a different one.GLENN C.
Rick's service center was an awful AWFUL location to do business with. We had a reservation 3 or 4 days in advance to pick up a cargo trailer. While on our way, the manager (oldest woman working) called stating â€œwe've been dead all day you need to come pick up this trailer nowâ€ my husband said â€œwe have a reservation at 3:45 we're 10 minutes awayâ€ she said â€œwell we're closing if you want it come get it nowâ€ and hung up. My husband wanted to business elsewhere but we didn't have the time. As my grandfather just passed and we were on our way to gather belongings from his house. We got to the location and she was the rudest, most unwelcoming woman I've ever encountered in my life time. Answering the phones and hanging up on people telling them to call back on Tuesday. Saying things like â€œthis is what happens when you book last minuteâ€. It was a disgrace. And we will be directing friends and family away from doing any business with this location. If someone wants to call me to talk further about this situation I'd be glad to talk with someone. 580-262-1694Jalan H.
Our issue was that we rented (online) a 20' truck from a place closer and were notified we had to pick up in another town. When we went to pick up they had us in a 26' (no prior notificaiton) and charged us for this amount vs. what we reserved online. This was all done online so not really this dealers fault but U-haul doesn't have a place to review their corporate process which isn't very good.John M.

The owner at Ricks was very helpful! She went out of her way on the way to a Christmas party to assure the truck was there and that I had the information on how to pick it up Sunday morning. The truck was returned late and dirty but that wasn't her fault.CRAIG C.

The woman who called us about dropping it off was rude and wanted us to drop the truck off before the actual end date of our contract, which what day she was referring to was a Sunday in which they were closed, which made us felt even more rushed than we already felt. It made our move even more stressful, given the fact that we were already dealing with the fact that the engine in my car gave out 5 states from our actual destination. Overall not a pleasant return process.lacee P.

The internet was down when I went to pick up the trailer but they were able to help me and get me the trailer. Very pleased with the customer service and the equipment.Charles C.
Equipment was clean but old, rusted, squeaky and did not fit the hitch ball well. A back reflector was taped on with electrical tape. The location rented from had just gotten the equipment in from somewhere else and had nothing to do with the age and functionality of the equipment. The trailer worked OK but bounced on the hitch ball with every bump.JAY H.

We've dropped off two trailers here in the past month. The first time, we had no problems. The second time, they charged us for 3 extra days, when in fact we returned the trailer one day early. There isn't anyone available to answer the phone or meet you after they close in the afternoon during the week, and no one available on weekends at all. When I received an email with additional charges, I called to question the charges (mind you no phone call from them to discuss this with me prior to charging). At first the lady was less than friendly and questioned me if I was sure I dropped off on Saturday stating we were supposed to have been met by someone and checked in. I explained this wasn't the procedure with the first trailer and quoted her answering machine message stating service calls were no longer made on Saturdays. How would I know her answering service message if I hadn't attempted to call when dropping off the trailer? It was a holiday weekend and I understand no one wants to work on a holiday, myself included. With that being said, if your business is not available for personal check in of trailers, you will have to take your customer's word for the return date. It isn't the customer's fault you weren't available. I asked for a refund of charges due to the situation, and confirmation of refund. She did agree and returned my call to tell me the refund had gone through but there was no way to email the confirmation to me. She offered for me to pick up a receipt but I don't live nearby. Later I realized she should have offered to mail the receipt and she has my address. On a positive note, she was willing to refund. On a negative note, she questioned my honesty, wasn't as friendly as I'd expected, and quite frankly didn't seem happy to give the refund. I would try to find a different location if possible, but sadly being so rural this was our only option.Katherine G.

1. My pick up location was changed at the last minute. Having lived in the area & knowing the several dealers available, I question if this was necessary or if Uhaul was just redirecting business to another dealer needing business. Whatever, it caused me to travel an extra 40 miles. 2. There was absolutely no help to hook up the trailer. I was glad I had some previous trailer experience. The lady that waited on me said she did paper work only & couldn't help me hook up. Bless her heart, she was not able to anyway. 3. The trailer was very dirty. Not swept out at all. Lots of dry mud. 4. One tire had several bald spots. The other tires looked fine. 5. Turn lights & brake likes didn't work on one light. I trusted the other 3 would get me to my destination. (Besides, the dealer couldn't have done anything about it anyway.) 6. Not sure the surge brakes engaged every time they needed to. 7. Exposed wiring. It was partly covered with duck tape which came off in the rain. 8. Drop off location immediately noticed the balding tire. Upon inspection, he determined the trailer had a broken spring which caused the worn tire. Pick up location sent it out that way. Not good!Eugene R.

First, I reserved my truck for a Friday at noon. I get a message saying it wouldn't be ready until 4pm. When I called, they said that they didn't know if they'd even have the truck in. In a panic, I called Uhaul customer service. They said my truck was there and that she wasn't sure why they would tell me otherwise. The next day I go to get my truck at noon. The process took over an hour. I didn't get a contract because the printers weren't working. The woman just said hopefully they'll take the written note she gave me on my receipt. In the long run I did get a truck, so I guess that's a positive.jennifer S.

The cab of the truck was dirty -- something had spilled (perhaps a soda) on the seats and floor. I needed to clean the seat before I could sit down. Not a pleasant experience.adrianne F.
