I did not receive final receipt and called the rental location and they were not able to assist me and advised me to call your office. When explained that I did not get a final receipt he advised me to look at my emails and I informed him I didn't get a email. He said he was not computer literate and would not able to further assist me. I am in great need of my receipt. Contract number 93502782. amount charged on my credit card. $115.79. The gentleman at this location was so helpful and the rental process through the uhaul website was very simple. That was the easiest part of getting my stuff to storage.

The guy tried saying the rates went up $30 dollars. In the 1 hr since I reserved the trailer. Had to call customer service twice before he ‘ fixed’ the problem. 🤦🏻‍♀️

The truck we picked up had apparent transmission issues to begin with but we needed it desperately so we used it anyways. The manager we dealt with over the phone(Richard Cardenas) initially was pleasant to deal with and when our actual rental needs exceeded our estimated needs assured us that the additional needs were not a problem. After repeated offers by us to return the equipment were declined the vehicle was actually reported stolen and we were informed after the fact. During the whole proccess my wifes wallet was stolen and the key to the Uhaul was lost. When WE called Uhaul to return the vehicle we were charged a $700 "impound fee" and even though I personally helped the man from the tow service hook up the vehicle I recieved a receipt in my email saying that I "abandoned the vehicle" My wife is the one that called Uhaul and gave them our location and we were there next to the vehicle when the tow truck showed up and I assisted with the hook up. I will never use Uhaul again and I would caution anyone from using a vehicle from Ricks Smog Shop.

He told us if we returned the trailer early, we would get a refund. We picked it up 2/3/21 11:41 am and returned it 2/6/21 10:43 am. We paid for a week and got NO compensation returned to us.

I had so much trouble getting the size I needed for my move! It’s frustrating enough when you move and they added so much more stress on top of what I already had. The size truck I needed wasn’t available at my home town site and Uhaul tried to send me on a 1 hr 20 min. Trip to pick up a smaller truck ( I definitely said no way)! After several calls back & forth, I ended getting still 1 size smaller than requested 20 min. Away from where I live I kinda had no choice but to agree. I called the location in Dos Palos to confirm everything was good before making my trip ( didn’t want any surprises). Once I contacted the location “Rick” was so rude, my reservation was changed from a one way trip to a round trip way making me bring back the truck back to the location? Of course I called the800# where I was reassured that I didn’t need to make a round trip. When I picked up my truck in Dos Palos again “Rick” started out really rude, that’s just not needed. I did get what I needed, still 1 size smaller. So much added stress !!

The employee would not accept the rental back unless the gas tank was filled, even though it showed in our contract that we received the rental a quarter under full. He sent us back to the gas station to fill it up before he would accept it.

We got a call the day before asking us to change our pickup location to Dos Palos. Ten miles further than Los banos. Not really a big deal. Just seemed like a longer drive. Online pickup was a little annoying as U-Haul wouldn’t take my location on my newer phone but when I used my wife’s slower Older phone it worked fine. Location was ok. Truck was clean and smelled good, no issues with that. I picked it up an hour early. No problems there either.

Be professional. Don't complain to a customer about being upset that your truck being rented to a One way client. Your issue with the equipment return location is not my problem. We all have a bad day but it's not the customers fault. Also.. I know what an appliance dolly looks like and you thought I was stupid when you passed me a utility dolly and lied. That's why we didn't take it. That is NOT meant to move a huge fridge or washer and dryer. You charged me anyway so now I have the hassle of having the charge removed. I'm sorry you hate renting out U-hauls, but you chose to. Work on pretending that you are happy to help.
