Ricks was fine but the customer service at u-haul was for the most part the worst I've ever encountered. Not only was I told I didn't know what I was talking about but basically called a liar. I-haul went into my checking account over 4 times and took out money illegally as I had been given a few days extra by u-haul because of the trouble I had endured but they didn't care they just took it out. I still am owed 43.20 from them taking it out after they were informed of the circumstances. I fold a complaint and was told I shouldn't have to pay for any of it but no one in authority seems to care enough to call a customer over 50 years back. But you can rest assured. This is the last time I will ever use this company. The way I was treated was abominable.SHIRLEY M.
Perhaps don't allow customers to book trucks that are not, and have never been, available at this location. Then they can avoid a back and forth for 4 hours trying to book, locate, and access a truck that was smaller than was originally booked. Because that's what happened to me.Terrance R.

The pickup place was fine. The reservation process with the main UHaul number was a nightmare. I won't rent another uHaul if I can help it due to the reservation screwups by uhaul.KEVIN L.

The 24/7 check in and return was an absolute nightmare. App didn't work, website didn't work, we were given access to a key that didn't go to our truck, it was a sketchy neighborhood and we felt unsafe. It took way too long and was a completely frustrating process from start to finish. This was my first uhaul rental and will likely be my last.Jason M.

This location is not safe for people at night. Dark area homeless people and street walkers come up to you. We actually had to men walk up we got in our car locked the door, they knocked on the window teying to talk to us. Definitely not safe for females. The wait time to talk to a uhual customer service rep is rediculousBobby K.

The process to get in and out of the van seem disorganized and unnecessarily lengthy . Upon arriving there was some kind of verbal fight/argument from the workers in the shop. I would have felt very unsafe if I'd been alone.Lauren G.

First, I tried to pay with my MC Debit Card. I was told that that card was being declined for what ever reason. They tried to run it again, and said it was declined again. So I called my wife and she brought CASH to pay with. I get home and my debit card HAS been charged three times by U Haul. Now I am out the cash and still awaiting a refund from MC of the charges on my card.lydie D.

It was a saturday and their closing hours were a little early; 12 noon.Glenn L.
Was 45 minutes late arriving to site. They knew we were moving a piano but gave us a truck without a ramp. They were supposed to add 10 extra miles to the ticket because margin for delivery and return was too tight (3 miles). In addition, the truck had only 3/8 tank of gas so had to go off route to get more gas which added more miles to the total. The only thing good was the drop off. If costs more than planned will be asking for refund or disputing charge.Stephen F.

Although I found Rick to be very personal, professional, and very likable, I was there on and before 8:00am (the pickup time) and the truck was not ready to go. The truck apparently was dropped off the night before and had not been processed. There was something sticky on the steering wheel. Otherwise, the truck was in good shape. I am not complaining because I am just glad it was there. It took about 30 minutes to get the truck. I had requested a furniture dolley and furniture covers. Neither were there. Rick was very attentive in getting the truck to me as fast as possible and I did appreciate that. Just a side note.. I am from this town (Goldsboro). This location might be considered a little "shady" for some folks. It (might) not be the best location for a female picking up early in the morning or dropping off late at night.Jerry P.

The light on the drivers side of the car dolly was not working, then they fixed it on location, then while driving the light dimmed and flickered while driving, and fell out. I had to packing tape the light in. Also, the drivers side loading ramp pin fell out and caused it to extend while driving. The 26 foot truck had horrible air condition ing and the change oil light came on half way into the trip.NATHAN B.
