Mary RThere was onlt a 26' truck available at the Ridge Manor Hotel vendor, and the estimate remained the same as if it were for a 15' foot. I was told that I would be comped.for the inconvenience, as my original quote appears. I was certainly charher for the 26'.
Robert HFirst, the equipment ordered was not available. Second, and most aggravating, after finishing the paperwork, the keys to the truck were not there. The person who had the keys was contacted and stated he would have the keys to us in 10 minutes. 45 minutes later a U-Haul truck showed up and the driver gave us the keys. No apology!!!! We had scheduled movers to load the truck and we had to pay them for the time wasted waiting for the truck. Third, the truck only had 5/16 tank of fuel. We are required to fill the tank when we return the unit. This is absolute BULL SHIT... A portion of our cost for the rental should be refunded due to our additional costs related to this idiotic and aggravating experience...

Natalia BWe were sent to 40 foot locations after we had reserved a truck for 8 o’clock that morning. Did not receive a truck till noon time. Got overcharged for the movers because I’ve been waiting since 8 o’clock in the morning. The truck had windshield wiper blades that were duct taped. It was food on the floorboard of the truck. And the gas tank was not even here for it was low. Worst experience I’ve ever had with U-Haul.

Brad WBe cognizant of customer reservation, location nearest to customer if changes are required. Do not send customer 25 miles out for pickup nor 20 miles for a drop off to insure igual gets more money due to mileage. Again, I passed over six locations for drop off. Pitiful way to extract more money from the customer.

John KThe place looked like a motel that hookers and drugs dealers work out of. The lady was no help at all. She didn’t even walk outside with me to go over the trailer. I went to hook up the trailer and it had a flat tire. I walked back to the “office” a motel room and told her and she was like “you got to be kidding me “ I had to change the tire with my tools and jack. She was no help at all and just looking at her she is too frail to help anyway. I’m 57 years old and I’ve never had an experience like this before. Very unprofessional and the place was very sketchy. Trust me I had my gun on me at all times. I felt very uncomfortable being there.

DENIS DDo not rent from UHAU, dropped truck off on day expected and they charged extra day. Truck was terrible, pay 90 to fill up and drove 150 miles and had to fill again. Highly disappointed.

jessica nThe drop off location was somewhat of a sketchy motel. I had range the bell for service, but no one answered. After, that I decided I wold park the truck and drop the key in the box. After I had parked the truck a female came out, while holding a phone to her ear saying that she didn't want to hang up because she had been on hold for forty five minutes already. I had no idea that she was affiliated with U-haul. She was dressed in a tank top and jean shorts, with no name tag or anything. The only reason I knew she was from the company is because she had my information on some U-haul paperwork. The place is dirty with handwritten signs all over. The clientele there was not inviting at all and seemed very dangerous, even in broad daylight. Had I known that the location was like this, I would have dropped off somewhere else. All I was told was that I would receive a receipt via email. Well, I would have liked to have it before I left so that I could have questioned any additional charges. Fortunately, the charges I received were fine.

Michele FThey are hauling off building materials in the trailers and mine was nasty I had to clean before I could use they are redoing there roof at motel and hauling off with closed trailers I have pics also and when I came back to drop off they had anther Trailor back up there so no I have never had that before and did not come hook me up check out or anything

Rebecca DKeep your word. I reserved a truck 2 weeks ago and told it was guaranteed only to be told the day before the reservation that my pickup location was moved half an hour away.
JULIO CThis was not my pick up point, I had to go to this one because Uhaul couldn't get a truck to the original pick up location even with 4 days notice! then had to give me a bigger truck because that location didn't have the size truck I rented. which in turn cost more money in fuel. How to improve - hire competent people

glenn hElectrical connector was bad. Only hazards worked. Had to drive with no lights to Advance Auto where I spent $12.00 on new lighting pigtail extension. Told owner when I returned the unit and showed them the new pigtails that I had to buy and they argued with me and did not help with the cost of the new wires. Not good customer service. Not well maintained electrical.

thomas sWould recommend this center strictly due to the availability of the owner. She lives on the property and will always make herself available. She was also very helpful in getting us hooked up to the trailer as I am not very familiar with that process. The trailer we rented was clean, HOWEVER, it had a terrible smell. In fact, we could not use it until we took it home and scrubbed it thoroughly with soap and water. It smelled like animal carcasses were hauled in it. We aired it out each of the 5 days we had but the smell still lingered.

Joseph BI rented the truck drove like 15 minutes down the road and the owner of the furniture i was going to pick up messaged me to cancel the pick up so I didn't even use the truck and maybe drove 20 miles and still got charged for the whole time and everything pretty much

John KWent to pick up the 26ft truck I reserved. Pull out and less than a mile the trucks is literally wobbling if I go over 40mph. I turn around and go back. With no sort of apology she says "well it's the same price either way and the ppl who turned it in didn't say anything was wrong with the truck.'' I had to settle for a smaller truck at the same rate! Highly dissatisfied! No stars do not recommend.
