I had to go to three addresses before I found an open one. The others, which were still in uHaul’s data base, had gone out of business. This has happened to me twice now in this area and should easily be rectified.

The person working at location 33 Bennett Street WAynesville , NC is ROBERT, its an older Caucasian male. THIS PERSON NEEDS TO BE FIRED for being hostile and racist with me for no reason. I have witnesses from my job when i called the next day after i had used the truck for only 5 hours!! and the person started being rude and said foul things like "i knew you would give me trouble" and " you must of not been from here boy" Completely unacceptable behavior from this person. I have been using UHAUL for 22 years now and NEVER been treated like this EVER! IM not sure if this person was in a bad mood before but thats not my issue and its does not justify someones bevaior and character based on their private life and bringing that ATTITUDE to work. HE lied about the contract, he NEVER mentioned the 79 cents a mile added to the DEAL , i told him it was a local drive and i would not be going far at all and the person also charged a GAS FUEL CHARGE for 8$ dollars for GAS being under what he originally gave it to me, I have pcitures of the truck before and after , inside and out PLUS a pciture of the gas before and after i used with a RECEIPT that states that I delivered the vehicle EXactly how I got it and with the EXACT gas it had before it was given to me to USE. i tried talking to this person on why he was being hostile why wasnt he CLEAR about the contract the charges that go wit it!. Hung up on me a few times and the last time stated that he will CALL THE POLICE if I call again . I demanded to have a portion of my money back because the TRUCK was FILThy and there was SMALL PIECES OF GLASS in the back that he did not mention, i returned the truck back clean crisp with the correct GAS amount, Please do something about this matter immediately! i Need to be compensated money back or I will take this a step further with the courts! if you have any questions or concerns please call me at (786) 514- 1143

I was supposed to pick up at Rabbit Skin enterprises but their ONE employee who new how to rent was on medical leave. U-haul made no attempt to let me know. My 8 am pick up actually was complete after the fine gentleman at Roberts worked with me while I drove to another closed U-haul site to get a trailer then bring it back to Roberts for the paperwork. I finally got the trailer and left at 10:15. U-haul needs to centralize more, then have what you say you will when you say you will have it where it is supposed to be. I would rather drive a little and know my product is there when I get there.

I was moving to Cullowhee, NC and upon typing that into the Uhaul website it directed me to a Uhaul drop off in Cullowhee/Sylva. I calculated that this would have put us under the mileage limit. After paying for my Uhaul I called this location and received notice that they did not handle Uhauls anymore. We were directed to drop off the truck in Waynesville which added an additional 20 miles to the trip on top of the 61 mile limit. Additionally, there was a Uhaul dealer between Cullowhee and Waynesville so I have no idea why we weren’t directed there to lower our costs. Very frustrated with that experience.

I set up the rental for my mother and her friends to pick up for their move. The guy who runs this establishment was extremely rude and grumpy from what I was told! He also REFUSED to do a walk around of the rental truck to point out any damages. I also had REFUSED the insurance when I set up the rental, but this guy ADDED it on anyways and told my mother and her friends that I had selected it! What a piece of work. If I were there, things would've gone MUCH differently. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION AT ALL!!!

Waited for representative to finish "morning paper work" prior to completing rental documents. Vehicle transmission was faulty. Returned vehicle with exactly as much fuel as when delivered and with back swept per the Agreement, but was nonetheless charged for $15 in fuel, a $25 cleaning fee and related taxes. Returned at 4:00 - 4:30pm, but no representative was on site despite posted hours from 9:00am - 5:00pm

I reserved a truck online, the website clearly stated that all I needed for electronically pick up my truck was my cell phone and internet access. I arrived at the location (i knew it was closed), logged into my account, acknowledge the necessary authorizations, scanned my drivers license, to the requires selfie-head-shot, and accepted all term of service. I assumed that since your website said "electronic pick-up", that there would be an electronic lock box or something that would dispense the keys. I was wrong, the website asked me if I had keys, to which I replied "no". The website then gave me a phone number, I got a voicemail and no call back. Needless to say, I was not able to take possession of the truck. I called U-haul's national number, explained to them what happened and had them cancel the reservation. Last evening, I got another email from you, it was a bill for the $35 truck rental.

I decided the trailer I rented was going to be too small so brought it back to get a 20 ft truck. The agent was cheerful and helpful about taking back one item and swapping for another, even though it took a lot of paperwork. He had a great attitude given it was completely my error.

The representative was abrupt and bordered on rude. He is not efficient with computer use and it took a long time to get the deal transacted. He did not want to give me a paper receipt when the trailer was returned and I had to insist...he indicated it would be too much work. There is a pending charge to my credit card from 3/11 that he does not know anything about. My cc company cannot review as it remains in pending phase. It is for an unusual amount and I want it removed. I am not surprised as I said he does not seem comfortable with computerized system. When I called this morning he told me he can't see the charge so he could not help me. Please respond. Thanks, Elizabeth Corbin

Your ads are very misleading. Our $19.95 rental for the day with taxes, fees, insurance, etc resulted in charges of $138.00. Will rent elsewhere from now on.

Nice man. they didn't have the size truck I requested and upgraded me to a bigger truck at no extra charge. Ended up not using the truck and got a partial refund, only drove it 10 miles.

Parking lot is a mud hole. It was scraped this week, however, it needs gravel very badly. The floor of the Uhaul truck was very dirty and I tracked the mud back in my vehicle when I returned the truck.

Picked up truck in rain, askew if they offered towing insurance. Was told no, 5 mins later I was in pouring rain with no wipers. An hour later I was stuck in mud. 150 towing fee and 100 lost on rental. Old fart was rude bastard and most all business in wnc is under par because they know they have no competition. I went online after I was stuck and they did offer towing for 5 bucks but asshole still said they didn't.
