I should not of had to drive to Glendive to even pick up the truck, U-Haul should have had it in Miles City ready for me. Making a reservation seems pointless if what you are looking for is not even a guarantee on the date you need it for. Very frustrating experience!
TRICIA WTrailer was dirty when picked up but if I were to drop it off like that, I would be charged a cleaning fee. No one reviewed the status of the trailer with me before I left. Staff initially added charges I declined when reserved. Staff was not particularly friendly.
Russell FMy truck did not have cruise control. Also, would have been easier for a lower running board just to get into the truck. Otherwise, yhe truck was fine

Theresa MMake sure all cup holders are clean. Realized when we went to use they were very sticky and gross. Otherwise equipment was clean and maintained.
DAVID UGlendive is pretty a pretty basic location. Robins is an auto repair shop, UHaul shop and buss pick up location. However basic, they are really nice people, accommodating and helpful

Michael WI reserved a 20’ truck at the Sidney,MT location two weeks before I was sent a email to call them. This was 48 hours before I was supposed to pick up my rental. I was the told that they do not rent trucks, except for in town use. Why doesn’t your website distinguish between locations that actually provide the service a person is seeking, and those that do not? We were damn lucky to get the truck we needed, and we took it even tho it was 115 miles away! Even though this was our third time renting from U-Haul we may try to find another rental company next time.

Steve BLocation was filthy, clerk tried to charge us for extra miles because she made a mistake. Charged us for gas even though the truck had 10 more miles to empty than when we picked it up.
Damon DEmployees not friendly. The equip was covered with snow, and the manager told the guy not to worry about clearing the snow, so I was unable to assess the equip. When I asked for instructions on how to use the guy pointed to the instructions on the fender and said follow them. I would have expected better from small town people?

Thomas JI lived in Williston ND and was told there would be a truck either in Sidney MT or Williston ND, but I had to drive 4hr round trip to pick one up in Glendive MT.

tom cThe truck was full of cat hair and dog hai which I’m allergic to. The windshield wiper was broke and I drove thru a rainstorm at 130am and it was quite disappointing that a basic safety item was neglected. The tow trailer was awful as well because the tire straps were cut so many times every time I stopped one was off because I couldn’t ratchet it down again safety. I called customer service ass well as my wife and we both never received a phone call back because I think there should be a discounted rate because of just plane laziness. I’m a class A driver and as I told the place I turned it into that they should not let the car trailer out before straps are fixed and the truck was a mess. When I got home I actually took my yard blower and blew out the truck for at least 5 minutes and still didn’t get the dog and cat hair out. And the worst thing is I called twice and never got to speak to a manager. And the call back never happened, so horrible customer service.

Lloyd SWe booked our reservation 2 months prior to pickup. We set it for Sidney, MT pickup at the Saddle Shop location. We had jobs lined up in Michigan where we were moving to, with specific start dates. The day prior to order reserved pick up, we were told there were no trucks. The soonest we could get them was 2 days after original date, on our scheduled move date. This threw our entire trip off by 4 whole days. Loosing out the employment opportunities we had. It was very frustrating and inconvenient to say the least. We also then had to drive an hour away to pick them up at the Glendive location instead. I am not sure if this error was on the part of UHaul or the local location. Was not a great experience at all having it fall this way.
